The queen glanced lazily at the woman brought before her. She was being restrained by a few members of the card guard, mostly out of habit. The Abovelander had fallen or tripped or however they were managing it and had landed straight in her realm. She really did hate the sort, making their very existence illegal. She’d never had anything good come from an Abovelander invasion.
However, she was bored. By God and Goddess was Iracebeth bored that day. She’d had nothing to do for a week, her courtiers were all dull, and she hadn’t had an execution in nearly three days. She could do with some new entertainment.
“You are in Underland, and while you are here, you will speak properly. Back straight, chin up.” She instructed, outsized head still resting on her hand.
