Mistigram: a memorable experiment in 3D newschool #ASCIIart, this is VileR's logo for his loader-cum-website at int10h.org/blog , included three years ago this month in the MIST0223 artpack collection.
Mistigram: reading body language isn't an exact science, but is subject to vagaries of culture & biology, something @atonalosprey played with in this monochrome study of ambiguous eyes. This #teletext screen was included in the MIST0223 artpack released 3 years ago this month.
Mistigram: this haunting #teletext image of a #mermaid seen in #silhouette from below was drawn by @atonalosprey and included in the MIST0223 artpack collection released three years ago this month.
Mistigram: What's the buzz? This bustling scene of hive life was drawn in #ASCIIart by @adelfaure and included in the MIST0223 artpack released three years ago this month.
Mistigram: ever feel like you're struggling to emerge from a foggy brain haze of static or line noise? @littlebitspace captures the sensation in this #ASCIIart illustration, "Tangled", included in the recent MIST0223 artpack collection.
Mistigram: just because February is over you might think that I could give the #BLM tenor of my Black History Month posts a rest. Well, you'd be mistaken. From the new MIST0223 artpack collection, here's a #teletext portrait by @atonalosprey of the late Tyre Nichols, beaten to death by five Memphis police officers at a traffic stop this January. We must demand better.
Mistigram: @atonalosprey saw a piece of #ASCIIart typography, "I always felt the scene watching me in my sleep" by Discyple of Mimic way back in 2004, come up in the churn of @sixteen_colors' AOTD (art of the day) posts and thought: "not bad, I should try my hand at it!" So he expressed some of his distinct sentiments, "Words will not save you", in a similar style in his #teletext editor window, and what you see before you is what resulted. (Cthulu transcribed it to actual ASCII for its inclusion in the recent MIST0223 artpack collection.)
Mistigram: Unable to obtain an uncompressed version of this file, the new MIST0223 artpack collection was initially released without this playful midnight #pond scene by @adelfaure, exploring liminal territory between #textmode and #pixelart. A piece of information in the collection needed to be revised, so while we were in there we had the opportunity of slipping the clean version of this one in while making the repair, and doing so was eminently worthwhile.
