lamest thing in the world is how hard mistborn era one goes it’s like this is our dying horror volcano planet where we run around with rusted nails through our eyes and construct false prophecies to rule the world and kill god and then era two is just. cowboys. every single character is a cop. mistcloaks but worse. capital T capital L The Law. the ultimate downgrade.

okay ms evil fake dead kandra wife accidentally falling in love with wax and then deciding to burn the whole city down in an attempt to save him from being manipulated into a tool for harmony, not ever telling him she’s alive and then killing herself in his arms knowing that she at least exposed harmony’s true nature to him is unfortunately rather compelling to me.
