I love Brandon Samderson’s writing because half the plot twists are the normal “oh this person wasn’t trustworthy, this person isn’t who they thought they were, somethings happened to this guy” twists.

The other half are “the entire cultural and knowledge basis of this planet as a whole and this culture in particular was built on a lie”.
