For the last several days, everything had been going well. Mephistopheles seemed to be almost no where in sight, and Murdoch, Haemon, and Neoma were able to simply be with one another. The demon would stop by on occasion, but it was less frequent, and usually was a question about his appearance.

Now, it was the day before the ball, and the various nobles were docking in their harbor. Murdoch was sitting on his balcony, watching the ships move in. His face was beginning to pale as he ended up saying, "Tommorrow's going to be a disaster."

The Unknown And The Lost

In an abandoned factory, on the outskirts of the town of Dallas, stood a woman with black shoulder length hair, bright brown eyes, and an outfit that would help her blend in with the crowd, was a woman named Io Castle. She flourished in the underground, a force to be reckoned with, known only as the Whisperer. She had the uncanny ability to know everything an employer needed to know about someone. And her newest target seemed to be very promising. 

She leaned against her motorbike, a sleek black Kawasaki Ninja, as she waited for her new target. She ran a hand through her hair as she felt the warm air against her exposed midriff.

Fiona stands nervously in front of Rordans front door. She hasn't seen him in several weeks, a one night stand. She normally would keep it that way. Have fun and never speak again. Her life was too hectic to handle anything else, Unforunately for her she was going to deliver some news. Her hands are shaking, and her cheeks- her once bright red cheeks due to the chicago weather no longer cold, but hot. She's sweating. She's shaking. 'Okay breathe' Fiona thinks to herself, her right hand in a fist about to knock on his door, she quickly moves her hand away and steps back. Contemplating. She stares at his door for a split of a second before she turns and begins to walk away. Her shoulders stiif, her hands glued together- twiddling her fingers.

She can't do this now. She has to check on Liam.

Who knows what the boys are doing. oh, and Debbie?

She has homework. Fiona HAS to make sure she does it.

She makes it about five feet away from his door, her feet dragging in the snow that lays effortlessly on the sidewalk and she stops. A long exaggerated sigh slips from her mouth. She twirls around and begins to walk towards his door again. No longer contemplating or anxiety ridden, she quickly turns her right hand into a fist and pounds on his front door. Only about twenty seconds go by before he answers it and the words fly out of her mouth so quickly that she isn’t even sure he processed the information correctly. “I’m pregnant. Yes! it’s  yours, I’m not keeping it.” A sigh leaves her mouth and she studies his face for his delayed reaction.

“I just want to go home.” (from Helena)

THE male from five turned to look at her, shaking his head momentarily. “I know, okay? I know.” he spoke, regretting his harsh tone instantly. He just hated the games but being furious to another victor was simply wrong.

He looked at her again, almost instantly, placing his hand on her shoulder “Look, I'm sorry.” he apologized, looking down for a moment “I know it's horrible but, it's all gonna end soon. I promise.” his goal was to protect her. He really didn't care, if he walked out of that arena or not. She was important. She mattered. “Get some sleep. I'll take the first shift.” despite the cut he picked up in the cornucopia, he was feeling strong enough to take shift one. Games at night were even more difficult. He was glad he can at least have an ally this time.

It had been a very long time since Jay and Silver had been sent out on an assignment. The two had been stuck on cleanup duty since the new head of their organization had taken over. Things had gone... well, things weren't going very well in Jay or Silver's eyes. Their group were doing much more inhumane things to the beings they caught, and the two of them were becoming increasingly annoyed by it, especcially Jay.

But this was their first outing in a while, so the two were planning on being on their best behavior. At least for the time being.

Apparently their group had found a whole island full of magic users... but they had left out a few specifics about this island, as the two found out. Mostly the fact that it looked like a town from a distance... still the two pulled up to the beach in a row boat, watching the boat that had dropped them off, sailing away in the distance. Silver had a bag that was mostly full of anti-magic weapons, and he kept it close to himself. "Ready?"

Jay was frowning, his stomach churning, but he said, "we're just scouting... don't do anything dumb."

"You're the dumb one." Silver ended up saying, before taking a couple steps forward.

When Murdoch had first started setting sail away from their small islands, his brother had said that they were both "talking a vacation," and having some "bonding time." Murdoch hadn't realized right away that his brother was only looking for more land to build more temples and statues, and have more control.

Though Murdoch finally realized his brother's actual plans once he decided to dock at an island that was clearly occupied. Granted, his brother could of just been stopping to resupply, but they had plenty of food still on them. Murdoch hsd just done an inventory check an hour before setting their sights on this place.

Once they were at the pier, and stepping off, Murdoch watched his brother, Ryan readjust his ckothes. Ryan was about six foot, with short red hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He wore fancy dark clothing, with a small bit of fur around the collar. Since it would be inappropriate to wear his crown during this kind of trip, he wore a ringlet of a black metal with an obsiden gem at the center. There would be a sword at his side.

Murdoch's clothes were similar to his brother's, except the ringlets he wore on his head was made out of Iron. He would carry a crossbow strapped to his back, and a few bolts at his side.. As for his appearance, he didn't look much like his brother. He was about 5'7 with shoulder length black hair, dull blue eyes, and pale skin. He had a mole under his left eye, and the prince looked incredible tired and maybe even a little hungry.

Ryan would take his brother by the wrist saying, "come on, this place has an entire city we need to map out." He glanced up to the moon as he shook his head, "i doubt anyone's even awake."

Murdoch wrinkled his nose, and as they were srumbling into the street, he ripped his arm away from his brother. "You said we were going to Sunray Province to finally visit Grim after all this time? Why are we here of all places?" There was a glare on his face, and a growl in his voice, both of which Ryan was ignoring as he glanced at all the buildings around them.

The First of Many

One step into the house made it very clear why Kasuna had been called to this case in particular. Ice clung to the walls like long tendrical vines, creeping up to the ceiling. Right in front of him was a woman, shred into frozen pieces. Each member of the family would be found in very similar states of death in separate rooms. Kasuna stepped closer into the freezing living room and looked around for a written message, a note, anything to confirm it was a calculated attack. 

Kasuna knew it was way too violent to be just a random senseless killing, not to mention Kasuna has become very familiar with these type of setups. Only now it was in the actual house, not out in the open. Someone was getting more bold with their attacks. He knelt down as he looked closer at the woman. “So what the hell did you and your family do?” He asked as he picked up her frozen head.
