Not gonna go into an in-detail review cause I’m super tired, but am gonna give my overall thoughts on the Mistfall web series:
The story was pretty solid overall; yeah it had a few odd bits here and there, but for their first series not bad.
The animation was decent. I know next to nothing about animation, but it seemed pretty good to me; again, there were some times when it looked odd and/or out of place (side note: what was that fire animation/texture???? cause it was bad)
The voice acting was probably the lowest point for me: Skye and Rania were pretty good, but the rest were not great at all. Especially Sam; if they continue the series they definitely need to fix that because Sam sounded like he was being recorded in a closet the whole time
As for characters, again Skye and Rania were the best; Sam was an intriguing character that I hope gets more and better use in the future, while Alonso and Nova were pretty useless. To me they seemed more like shoe-horned cameos/easter eggs for fans of the game than actually characters. Sigry had potential in the beginning despite the sub-par voice acting, but she quickly disappeared
Overall I enjoyed Mistfall and look forward to SSO continuing the series! Fingers crossed for a Part 2!
