she didn’t intend on staying here all night, just long enough to briefly pay her respects to faith and chat for a bit - if that’s what she needed. so, frankie approaches the bar to order her second and her LAST drink when she bumps shoulders with someone standing next to her. halfway through a mumbled apology, brown hues land on a familiar face and for a second, the words are stuck in her throat. “ — alice, i didn’t see you there, i’m sorry. ” she finally manages, her hesitant tone clearly indicating her SURPRISE.
