Mitzi s-a prezentat cu lipsa apetitului hidric şi alimentar, vomă, apatie. Mitzi a primit câteva doze de pastile împotriva căldurilor şi nu de puține ori am observat reacții adverse pe termen lung - crize epileptiforme, piometru, tumori mamare. Mitzi a fost evaluată şi ecografic, unde s-au văzut clar coarnele uterine pline cu conținut ( la o pisică sănătoasă e foarte greu să vezi ecografic uterul). Am sterilizat-o de urgență - vezi poza din carusel, iar Mitzi acum se reface acasă. Cea mai bună metodă de prevenție a căldurilor şi a gestației la animalele de companie este sterilizarea, chirurgicală sau chimică.
