This is #miudinho , a style of #Capoeira(mixing #CapoeiraAngola and #CapoeiraRegional developed by #MestreEspirroMirim , in Pernambuco, where #Frevo was created). Many folks say that capoeira and #ContactImprovisation has many things in commun(but, i just found 2 #DanceSchools that presented courses with these both discipline :@oberlincollegeand @universidadefederaldabahia. In the 1st , #StevePaxton created the first #ContactImprov performance called #Magnesium , and many years later O.C. hired a performer and #capoeirista called #JustinEmeka to show how #contemporarydance could be connect to this #BrazilianTraditionalDance ;in Federal University of Bahia , #DavidIannitelli inserted C.I. in a context where Capoeira was well stabilished). Do you remember the C.I. video i posted , recorded by @shirayaziv ?Now she presented a very interesting paring with mestre @ninja_pinto . I said to folks of @animalflowofficial and to the great canadian #BGirl @minh_tea (#BgirlCleopatra) that this ancient technique is very connect (in terms of #laban #movementAnalysis) to this #StreetDance style Lephan pratices and how both her work and #AnimalFlow bodywork explore movement in a similar way the ground/floor level .It's marvelous that most part of the World #DanceCommunity breaks this barrier of "dancing stretch" , only exploring the high level of space, don't exploring their joints and arms to make dance a more spetacular thing.
