decided to finally update my DAW after 10 years
Here's a song I made. Sorry.
I've made two conceptual soundtracks I've made for games I would like to make at one point for fun, using @torcado's Scritch Editor to upload em' onto http://itch.io! One of them is a psychological horror-type game, and the other is basically "What if Uno was a card-based RPG?" I like this tool cause I can update the albums in bulk whenever I change my mind about a song or want to quickly adjust it.
You can listen to them here:
A collection of songs for a potential game I would like to work on in the future
A bunch of songs for a made-up card game idea made for fun
WTF MIXCRAFT HAS A SAMPLER PLUGIN HOW TF DID I NOT REALIZE "ALPHA SAMPLER" DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS ON THE FUCKING TIN
Like 70% of all the default synth presets in Mixcraft 7 are either:
Nearly useless arpeggiators
Ambient sound effects
Decent leads that all sound WAY too similar to each other (Seriously, can Renegade do anything other than "byowwww"?)
Pads that are way too saturated
Pads that have way too slow of an attack
Leads that almost sound good, but have a really stupid aspect that ruins them.
The remaining 30% contains
Leads that I use too much
Leads that aren't polytonal
Leads that have a portamento and can't play notes that are too fast
Please Mixcraft, I just want useful synths. I don't want an arp that just plays the Doctor Who theme and doesn't change with the project tempo.
