re: whether naturium products themselves are any good despite the recent controversy about the brand, from what i’ve seen, they’re actually rather decent, and therein lies the sad irony of SY shooting her own brand in the foot — it had enough quality to stand by itself otherwise. i do not vibe with their emphasis on “clean and natural” skincare, for reasons you may be aware of if you’ve followed me for a while, and i do think there are similarly-priced and cheaper alternatives that are just as good, but their range of products, taken by itself, seems pretty awesome. i also respect their sentiment when it comes to sustainability and ethical sourcing.

whether or not you want to spend money on them is up to you; i’m sure susan is not the one person involved in it, and i’m sure the formulators and product developers are honest and worked hard on the product range to make it as effective and pleasant as possible, but i’ll be honest, the whole thing has left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to the whole brand’s trustworthiness.
