I wonder how many mixed kids have problems filling out the “ethnic background” portion of tests.

Now, being half Hispanic I always mark that when asked, but I’m also half Japanese. There’s always another option like: Asian, Pacific Islander, etc. But after each one of those, in parenthesis it says: (not Hispanic or Latino)?? Like I can’t be both? I mean I always put both down anyway but it just makes no sense to me.
