Vehicroids is a good example of a theme or archetype starting weak and ending a powerful build arround the improvements they gained over the years. Although their beginnings were rough, Vehicroids could stand out with a diverse list of effects as well supporting monsters outside their archetype like Speedroids. Their Fusion Summons might be some of the most expensive to setup, but they have some compensation ranging from shortcuts to protective setups to make them tougher than already can be.
"Mixeroid" is a monster that despite several conditions arround its abilities it becomes one of the most vital members to move the archetype with its assistance. "Mixeroid" can tribute a Machine (Can be itself" to summon from our Deck a Roid not belonging to the WIND attribute, but despite this restrictions it has a big number of candidates to work with. If "Mixeroid" is in the Graveyard then its second effect comes into action, in which by spending half our Life Points and banishing itself along other monsters will summon a Roid Fusion with the same Level as the number of banished monsters. The summoned monster will only last a turn before destroying itself during the End Phase, but as a Fusion Summon only using materials in our Graveyard it can range from finishing moves to setting some big summons wiht its pressence. Overall, "Mixeroid" might have some complications, but once we check the cards that can work along with it will show its full potential.
Obviously as a WIND monster itself "Mixeroid" cannot search for its own copies, but that makes it far from being unsupported. The Field Spell "Megaroid City" can trade a card in our field to search for "Mixeroid", while the Xyz Monster "Gear Gigant X" can use its attached materials to look for this monster inside our Deck. If things go well for the build we can summon "Super Vehicroid - Mobile Base", a big Fusion Monster able to bring "Mixeroid" from our Deck to the field for any purposes needed. Finally there's "Ties of the Brethren", taking advantage of the many Level 4 among Roids to summon "Mixeroid" along another monster. But if "Mixeroid" is already on the field instead we can take advantage of its lack of ATK to use "Machine Duplication", allowing us to summon all its copies as a result. Finally, although a "Mixeroid" in the Graveyard will be saved for its Fusion Summon ability, don't hold back to either retrieve it back with cards like "Emergeroid Call"and "Expressroid", and/or revive it with ease by many cards such as "Iron Call" or "Debris Dragon".
The abilities of "Mixeroid" might have some drawbacks, but are simpler to work arround with than it looks. While tributing a monster to summon a Roid might seem expensive, we can simply tribute "Mixeroid" itself so later on can prepare its Graveyard effect. Despite the attribute restrictions there's still a variety of Roids to summon with this ability, ranging from staple members like "Expressroid" to even some of the strongest Vehicroids such as "Armoroid". Despite the 0 ATK "Mixeroid" shouldn't be underestimated, as with the pressence of "Megaroid City" we can attack using its high DEF while dumping Roids from the Deck to prepare its Fusion Summons. Its Graveyard effect might take a while to setup due many Roid Fusions have high Levels, but unless we work along milling effects we can simply aim for "Pair Cycroid" to either direct attack the opponent and/or become the main material of bigger monsters. But the same applies with the most expensive summons, dealing massive damage with monsters like "Super Vehicroid Jumbo Drill" or "Barbaroid, the Ultimate Battle Machine" to then use them for something simple like a Link Summon before they end destroying themselves. Just be careful when splitting our Life Points for this Fusion Summon, as the earlier is used the more expensive and riskful will become.
"Mixeroid" is an interesting creature with odd conditions for its abilities, yet allows it to lead the archetype on its own or with company. Its searching effect might be underrated as completely ignores the entire Speedroid archetype, yet by tributing itself not only we can rbing some strong Vehicroids but also prepare itself for its Fusion Summons. In that case is another challenge as many archetype's Fusion Monsters carry insanely high Levels to become quickly available, but even if we aim for one of their cheapest options like "Pair Cycroid" is more than enough to obtain solid results. But "Mixeroid" really stands out when working with the rest of cards that can interact with, as from "Machine Duplication" summoning all its copies to "Megaroid City" taking advantage of its high DEF to attack makes this Roid more efficient than might apparent on its own. Overall "Mixeroid" might seem tricky to achieve its best outcomes, but once we get the hang of it becomes an important staple for the archetype.
