jogger’s etiquette;
@mixhimchan
Yuyan hadn’t slept. Last night had been miserable-- one mistake after another, all culminating in a less than favourable outcome. Sure, she had gotten the information she had been sent for in the end, but it had been more messy than she liked and she had the bruises to show for it. So, after dealing with the fallout of it all, she had set off for a run. Usually she just went to the gym, but when she needed to clear her head, nothing worked like a long jog through the less-populated areas of the island.
Especially when it was this early and there was no one else around, she could just let her mind drift and not really pay attention to anything at all.
Or maybe that was not such a great idea, because just as she was rounding a bend on a particularly secluded road, she found herself colliding with something solid and human shaped. And when she looked up, the solid human-shaped guy didn’t look too happy about it. Someone hadn’t had their morning coffee, she could only assume.
“Oh, I’m sorry about that! I guess I got distracted. Are you out for a run too?” Not many civilians jogged in secluded areas so early, not in Myeongcho. Most people knew better. Suddenly, she was very curious about this stranger. “I didn’t expect to see anyone out in this area. It’s kind of out-of-the-way, isn’t it?”
