EVENT: SWEET LIPS REOPENING!

With the completion of their revamp, local Paint-And-Sip Sweet Lips is reopening as a candy store and snack bar this weekend. To celebrate, they will be holding a store-wide sale as well as keeping you entertained for your visit, so be sure to stop by on the big day — Saturday, July 13th, 2019 — if you’ve got a sweet tooth! 

The store in Barae stocks sugary baked goods, chocolate and candy, as well as various snacks and chilled goods perfect for the summer months. 

Sweet Lips’ return will be the first re-opening since June 14th’s riots, though the initial closure of the store for refurbishments is believed to have been unrelated to the events.

Fate has never once had an issue with Sia; she thought they got along fairly well, and she hadn’t found a reason to have conflict with her...until now. But it wasn’t Sia she was upset with, it was herself. She had been running in between her work as a medic and her work as a florist much more than usual, and with the occasional wear and tear came mistakes. She hated making mistakes — even if hating something was a bit out of her normal attitude. She could say she didn’t hate it; but right now, she didn’t have time to bargain with herself on how she should feel, it was what she should be doing. There were a couple blood samples with a couple of Sia’s girls that Fate had had, with all intentions to get to them that afternoon...but they were gone. How the hell did you lose something like this?

She ran around her little office, and in all the places where other medics kept their tools and supplies, checking bio-hazard bins with a double pair of gloves on, panic slowly growing. She wouldn’t have thrown it out, but where could they have gone?

Were they...stolen?

Either way, Fate had to deliver the bad news. And she wasn’t sure what to expect.

“Sia...I have bad news. The girls of yours I brought in the other day for blood testing? I failed you, and them, because...I can’t find their samples. They’re gone. They were right where I left them yesterday evening, but I don’t know if anyone had been in the office after me and I just...I lost them, I’m sorry.” panic showed in her rambling, wringing her hands together, unable to make eye contact with the other woman until she manages to stutter out an apology.

Seulgi could only hope that she wasn’t making a fool out of herself — or complicating a situation that she knew nothing of, but for a while now she couldn’t brush the…disturbing vibes that a certain someone was giving. She had seen the seemingly quiet man make his way around the bar, mingling with men & women alike, but something wasn’t right. Maybe it was something in his eyes, or the way he held himself, or simply the way he talked…or maybe it was all in her head, but his intentions weren’t clear as he hung around one of the seating areas, eyeing a woman a couple tables over from where Seulgi sat. He hadn’t approached her, yet, talking to a couple others that seemed just about as off-putting as he did. Seulgi decided to make her move, picking up her drink and moving herself to the woman’s table, a smile forming on her lips. “Hey! How are you doing?” She greeted as if she was a long time friend that she had just ran into.

Seulgi was almost certain that, more than likely, she hadn’t talked to this woman in her life. 

“You’re looking stunning tonight, did you do something new with your hair?” She asks, glancing up over the other woman’s shoulder, briefly making eye contact with a displeased pair of eyes. But she didn’t care. Even if she made a fool of herself, if it meant someone was going to be left alone, she was fine with that. She stopped for a split second, pulling out her phone as if to answer a text, quickly, but in reality, she had other intentions.

“A guy has been staring at you all night. Thought you could use a friend.” she sets her phone on the table, directly in front of the other, where the note can be read before the screen dims itself, “Oh — you have a little lipstick smudge, let me get that for you.” A friendly gesture, Seulgi moves to pick up a napkin from the table, leaning over as she gently touches it to the corner of her lips, rubbing lightly before she pulls away entirely, her free hand taking her phone back after a moment to avoid unwanted eyes at her warning signal.

jaehyun being a gentleman is debatable to say the least. he has his moments. he’s known shiyeon  for a while. he also knows she’s not really just shiyeon, he knows quite a bit because it didn’t take a lot of digging to get that information. however, it was only a matter of time before he dropped the bomb on her. and the more time it passed, the more he wanted to see her reaction. 

they’re bot stood by a bus stop, forshiyeon’s bus, because jaehyun has to go somewhere after their little meeting they had, and he does notice she’s shivering. it’s not that cold, summer on full blast on the island, record heat temperatures, but some of the people he knew were always cold. crown was cold hearted, that’s why he always insisted the rest of his body was always warm.

so without much thought, he shrugs off his black leather jacket and places it gently on shiyeon’s shoulders, giving her a smile that doesn’t really reach his eyes once she looks at him. soon, he speaks.

“we don’t want you to catch a cold now, do we, sia?“ he asks, as if there isn’t anything wrong with what he says and he shoves his hands back in his pockets, looking at his watch quickly before. “your bus is pretty late, you sure this is the right stop?“ jaehyun asks another question, fully aware of what things might be going through the other gang member’s head, but he doesn’t care. she wouldn’t be able to run away from him or this.

minji was still trying to break out of her shell in many ways, but nothing shoved her into action more than crisis and chaos on the rise. perhaps it was a terrible idea, but being a medic, she couldn’t just sit in her office when there was the chance help might be needed. once she had the tip that the streets of yeongi were growing extremely unsafe, she was quick to make her way to the outskirts of the heart of the city; all the medical supplies she could handle strapped in a bag, and a gun at her side if she really needed it. (but it’s not like she was used to putting bullets in someone; she was more used to removing them than anything)

perhaps it’s pure adrenaline she’s running on, but she knows some of the other Corvus gals’ had the same idea — or at least so she thought, when she saw a very familiar face already taking action in helping fellow women and children.

“Sia, let me help you.” is the greeting that leaves her as she approaches quickly, a more serious tone that replaced the typical lighthearted one she held; this wasn’t a time for any normal greetings, especially in a far from normal situation. minji watched her steps, the clatter of noises both near and distant already overwhelming. “Have you found anyone injured?”

usually if yeji needed snacks, or literally anything she could buy from a convenience store, she’d take the trip out to bimil to their flagship store. it’s a quiet village, so it’s rarely busy and she can stay as long as she’d like, chatting to the cute cashier, her best friend. at three am, though, not only does she highly doubt he’ll be working, but she can barely walk in a straight line, overwhelmed by exhaustion, so chances are, she’d miss her stop and end up doing a full loop of the island and getting in trouble with not only the driver, but said best friend ( and not to mention sister ) for being out so late and so vulnerable in such a dangerous place. myeongcho isn’t exactly known for being safe after hours; she’d know because she’s part of the problem. 

once she arrives, she heads straight for the ramen, already knowing exactly what brand and flavour she wants — it’s the same as every time she can’t sleep at night. she’s silently praying they have one in stock when she rounds the corner and spots it, a familiar face standing beside the display. sliding up beside her, she offers her a sleepy smile and reaches for the packet. 

“excuse m—” she starts, the skin of their hands bumping before she can make contact with the packet. “are you— that’s mine.” a heavy sigh huffs from her lips, her body suddenly more alert, more awake, as if sleep had never been on her agenda for the night. “you weren’t going for that one, right?”

Polishing a glass the bartender can’t help but laugh at the antics of the drunken woman before her. It was just another normal evening in Swizz and Bella was content to polish glasses, mix drinks and flirt with customers while her “janitor” kept “the backrooms clean”. 

It wasn’t seldom that a drunk customer tried to make crazy deals with her or offer her ridiculous things in exchange for her number but the lady before her might have just uttered the most harmless and adorable attempt at striking a deal that she had ever heard.

Placing the glass down Bella leaned across the counter, toothy grin directed at the girl with her chewing gum peeking out between her pearl white teeth. “Now, now there. I ain’t never say no t’money but I’mma let ya sleep on that n’ have ya tell me all ‘bout it tomorrow when yer more sober, mkay? How ‘bout that?”

hello everyone~ i'm thinking of changing sia's business and i wanted to know if the members had anything they wanted to see! i'm trying to stray away from things we already have + i want to be able to be able to plot around it! please let me know if you have any ideas :>

We’d love to see beauty salons, car dealerships and a more budget-friendly fashion store to rival our high-end, luxury Chateaux ( for those of us not receiving hefty gang payments! ), but we’ll open this up to members; what would you like to see?
