[ARTICOLO] Rap Monster dei BTS collabora con Wale nella canzone a sfondo politico “Change”

“Rap Monster dei BTS -anche conosciuto come RM- ha rilasciato a sorpresa una collaborazione in inglese con il rapper americano Wale questa domenica 19 Marzo a mezzanotte KST provando così il suo potenziale internazionale in una hit rap a sfondo politico in cui l’Oriente incontra l’Occidente.

Le due superstar dell’hip hop hanno condiviso una chimica incredibile in questa traccia emotiva mentre si alternavano le strofe e armonizzavano insieme nel ritornello, lamentandosi del bisogno di cambiare del mondo e scavalcando la “polizia razzista e della destra* alternativa”. (*N/B: destra intesa come orientamento politico.)

“Il mondo deve cambiare” implora Rap Monster nel breakdown della canzone in mezzo ad un turbinio di veloci e funky beat.

Ad un certo punto Wale urla perfino un ringraziamento al fandom dei BTS, gli ARMY. Secondo Soompi, Wale ha viaggiato fino a Seul per filmare il video musicale con Rap Monster, lo stesso video che è apparto sul canale YouTube della Big Hit Entertainment questa mattina. In una conferenza Rap Monster ha parlato con enfasi della sua collaborazione con Wale dicendo: “Ho invitato Wale ad unirsi a me in Corea per incontrarci, registrare e filmare il video. Veniamo da culture, paesi e etnie diverse ma quello che abbiamo in comune è l’amore per la musica e per la vita. Sono orgoglioso di condividere questa musica con il mondo e orgoglioso di dire che il mio nuovo amico Wale è qualcuno che ammiro. Ci siamo divertiti molto scrivendo la canzone assieme e girando il video.”.
