I wrote a Leon Kennedy x Chris Redfield fic containing everything I imagined happened behind the scenes while playing Re 9: Requiem.

“Say, Koushuu.”

Koushuu raises a brow at Takuma’s tone which was way too sweet for his own liking. “What is it?”

“Is it true that back in high school you had stereotypes for everyone from your imagination?” Takuma rolls over to rest his head on Koushuu’s lap, looking up at Koushuu. “Kuramochi-senpai said he used to hear you mumble things bout’ it.”

Koushuu freezes. He’s going to shove that bastard’s head into the dirt next time he sees them.

He grits his teeth. “I was fifteen.”

Takuma pushes himself up, nearly butting heads with Koushuu, and sits on his knees to look at Koushuu with an expression of pure curiosity. (Koushuu knows that isn’t innocent curiosity, he knows it’s the I-Am-Going-To-Get-Answers-Out-Of-You curious stare.)

“So you do admit you had them! Koushuu, please, please, tell me who Kuramochi-senpai was to you!”

Koushuu grimaces, resisting the urge to simply get up and walk out of their apartment to avoid this conversation. “…He was the brute good for nothing sidekick.”

Takuma giggles, actually giggles and it’s really cute, especially with the cheeky grin on his face— Koushuu mentally scolds himself for utterly being so in love with an idiot.

“Wait, wait, who was Haruichi-senpai then to you,” Takuma’s attempting to calm himself from laughter, ”in fact who were the Kominatos to you?”

“Innocent looking deceitful demons,” Koushuu responds bluntly.

It isn’t a lie and he doesn’t have to be embarrassed by it, practically everyone knows so it’s alright if he thought they were that too. Right?

Takuma’s clutching at his stomach and wheezing (How this boy was able to go from light chuckling to loss of breath within seconds was a mystery to Koushuu.), face red and glasses nearly falling off his face.

“How about Miyuki-senpai, Sawamura-senpai, Asada-kun, and Kanemaru-senpai?” Takuma stutters over his words, tearing up.

Koushuu takes a moment to actually understand who’s names he was saying, scowling upon hearing the name of the catcher. He debates just shutting his mouth now and ignoring Takuma, but the way Takuma looks like he’s seen something he’s lost for years just by his answers overtakes him and he answers anyways.

“Evil villain, manic pixie dream guy, someone who deserved better and all my pity went to him for being the only normal one.” Koushuu says as fast as he can in hopes Takuma doesn’t even understand his words so he doesn’t have to admit anything.

Takuma shoves his face into the couch pillow. The only thing Koushuu hears is muffled hysterical laughter.

“Who was I to you?”

Koushuu shrugs, “You didn’t really change much from what I thought you were. You’re still the sidekick I had who I eventually fell in love with.”

“You’ve been reading too much manga!” Takuma shoves his face into the pillow once again, this time face red for completely different reasons.

Koushuu smiles to himself. Cute.

Those words startled Ichiro who was checking out a new anime to watch with you.

"Where did that even came from (name)..." He said, you could tell by his tone that he's actually hurt after hearing that.

You bury your face in the plushie that you were holding. Saying for reasons of such words that came out of your mouth even though it's muffled by the plushie, Ichiro could hear your voice clearly.

"You're stuck in my mind ichi.. When Im talking with my friends, your face pops up. When I'm trying to to study, your smile pops up in my head. When I'm just relax and not think of anything, YOUR stupidly handsome face comes up in my mind. It's getting out of hand. LIVING IN MY HEAD IS NOT RENT FREE YOU KNOW?!"

Ichiro's eyes widens before chuckling at how cute your little outburst there. He walks to you and hold your face so it's facing his.

"I guess i need to start paying the rent now then (name)?" he said teasingly, kissing your nose then releasing you. Waiting patiently for your reaction.

You, not expecting your boyfriend to do such things blushed. Tinges of red could be seen across your face as you spat out again.

"I HATE YOU!"

Today's a special day. Why? Cause it's your birthday. But seems like no one remembers it? Or do they just don't know?

That's weird. No texts that wish you a 'happy birthday'. No one actually wish you when you met them. It's like they actually just forgot about it.

Walking back to your house with a sulking heart, you opened the front door just to be greeted by your friends and family saying a 'happy birthday!'

What shocked you the most is (character's name), your s/o was the one that planned all of this. They got out of the kitchen while holding a cake while others just sing the 'happy birthday to you' song in the background.

As the cake with (your age) candles was in front of you, they said "Go on love, make your wish."

You closed your eyes while saying your wish in your head and blow the candles out. This moment makes tears came out of your eyes. Tears of happiness.

"Happy birthday (name)."

"Well it's illegal cause you're interrupting us! "

Prompt 7 | visiting them at their place of work

"Welcome how could I help you-" Akito's shut himself up when he noticed you're the one that entered the boutique. He stopped arranging clothes and walks up to you.

"(Name). What are you doing here?" He said with closed eyed smile but you know him well to notice that he's annoyed by his tone.

"Oh nothing, just want to visit my dear boyfriend. Maybe I could buy some clothes too. You don't want to be mad at customers right? Most importantly, that customer is your s/o" You said teasingly, knowing he'll felt so annoyed by now.

He sighed, knowing that it's no use being mad at you since you'll just continue teasing him either way. "Just don't try to do anything dumb okay?" "Okayyy"

And just like that you disappear to who knows what section of that store while Akito just watching you like an eagle watching it's prey. (In case you did anything)

Akito goes back to arrange the clothes but his eyes caught someone trying to hit on you. At first he just brush it off but when he glanced back and saw how uncomfortable you look. He decided to step in.

"Can't you see they're uncomfortable? Please leave before I report you." He said to the guy that was harassing flirting with you while standing in front of you. "What? It's not like you're their boyfriend or something buddy. Let me do my thing. And don't interrupt us." The guy tried to take your hand before it got slapped by Akito.

"Please leave this instant. I don't want to make a fuss in here. And yes. I'm their boyfriend so what?" Akito glared at the guy before pulling out of the boutique for some privacy. "Look I know you're trying to buy some clothes but please walk to your home now. It's not safe out here at this time okay? I'll walk you home."

"Wait wait wait. What about your work-" "That can wait. You're my priority. I'll text my manager later saying it's an emergency. She'll understand." Akito said, cutting you off while holding your hand and pulling you to your home.

'He's so cute when he cares..' You thinked while smiling to yourself.

Currently both of you were in his house doing your own things. Him with robots while you were just playing your phone on the couch. After a while you got bored and decided to look what Rui was working on.

It's a TsukaRobo. Huh. Did Tsukasa request a robot just like Nene too? Wonder why....

Your gaze changed to Rui. More specific,his face. The look of concentration and determination on his face is so cute. You thought to yourself.

This behavior of yours didn't go unnoticed by this cunning inventor. He noticed it but decided to let you indulged yourself for a while. He even decided to stick out his tounge a little.

After he finished modifying the robot, he said without averting his gaze from it, "Am I that beautiful til you can't take your pretty little eyes off me darling?" Those word caught you off guard and snapped you out of your trance.

As blush crept up to your face, you took nearby pillow on the couch and cover your face with it. "shut up you..." you mumbled making him chuckled in amusement.

"No worries darling, you could stare me all you want. I really don't mind it~"

Akito, your childhood friend, the guy that you have a crush on since high school. You don't know why but you keep blushing and fidgeting around him more often now.

Is it because you're nervous he's not going to like you back? Or is it something else? God knows.

He noticed how you started to get nervous around him to the point that you're even running away from him everytime he was gonna talk to you. Now you're making him overthinking.

Do you hate him? Why? Or did someone threaten you to not talk to him? His fangirls perhaps? You're making him frustrated and confused at the same time to the point he snapped at you one day.

Seeing you waving your friends goodbye, he pinned you the wall, completely trapping you so you can't get away from him again.

"What's up with you these days huh?" He grumbled at you. "W-what you mean kito? I didn't do anything wrong..."

He closed his face to yours. "Nothing wrong huh? Then why are you avoiding me? Do you hate me or something?" His face close to yours makes your face explodes to different shades of red.

"W-what are- you talking about..? I would never hate you akito....it's just.." You stuttered out with blush still covering your face.

"Just what-" "I like you okay?! I couldn't help but felt more nervous around you so I avoided you." You cutted his words making him stunt in his place. You like him? He snapped out of his thoughts and hugs you tightly, hiding his face in your shoulder.

"Idiot. Why wouldn't I like a person like you.."
