a/n: sorry i missed the first week.. here!!

number one, this boy LOVES Halloween. even if you guys are “too old” for it he is always so hyped for it

starts planning costumes in advance, like MONTHS prior in July. he always is so detailed with his outfits you’d think he’s a cosplayer

also, even if he does love collecting candy. he goes as spiderman and gives out candy to kids (but also does a costume over his suit, did venom once and scared EVERYONE)

when he sets out the candy bowl, he always sneaks a Pokémon card at the bottom of the bowl because someone did it once when he was a kid

always tries to match with you (coraline and wybie.. etc)

collects extra candy just so you guys can share

any candy you like from his supply he always gives it to you after like 5 minutes of convincing

if his costume is like SCARY he always goes really quiet and stays behind you JUST to scare you.

you guys mapped out the neighborhood prior to know which ones to go to, (for big sized candy bars, trading cards, etc)

also you guys scammed some kids out of their candy for funsies but gave it back.. (mostly???)

the process making the costumes was messy and the aftermath. no words else needed.

i feel like he would give you small gifts through out the day in your locker (paper rings, notes on how much he loves you, origami etc)

if he made a gift basket it would be half of things he made and half of stuff he bought.

he’d get you plushies, candy and anything you like.

he’d give you a sketchbook that he dedicated to you and finished that had artwork full of you.

he would buy you lunch or bring you a cupcake from the bakery.

he would take you out somewhere fun like roller skating or to go painting

would give the best gifts and act like it’s just a small gesture.

realistically (sorry bad boy miles g headcannoners) he would make sure he did something big for you with what he’s got.

since he struggles with money, he would try to make the most out of what he has and make something thoughtful.

also would sneak stuff into your locker. although he rage quit at origami he would be a poem or writer kind of guy. not corny poems but thoughtful ones.

would buy those “I love my girlfriend” shirts and wear it on your birthday.

miles would buy you those big teddy bears half your size and struggle to carry it to your house.

after his prowler duties he would sneak in through your window and watch a movie with you until you go to sleep.

a/n: ok so I really self projected in this cause I’ve been going through smth very similar for the past few months, I started writing on tumblr as a way to write my feelings but I feel like I haven’t been doing that enough. I was gonna take a break from requests for a min (continue to request that was an old thought) then try to but then seeing this request rlly helped me wanna write abt it so tysm dude and please your not alone talk to someone. I am always here for anyone who needs it. i hope some people can find this blog a way to express how they feel through their comfort characters because i certainly would’ve wanted that during atsv haiatus.

that time of year again.

not specifically time of year, usually time of week, hour, day. when you thought it went away it didn’t.

you couldn’t be alone with yourself without feeling like your sinking into absolute darkness.

nobody understood. they were always against you for your actions but never wondered why. why where you feeling this way, what drove you to do this.

you couldn’t help but distance yourself from everyone. you wanted to be alone yet you didn’t wanna feel lonely, which is what being alone led along with.

it’s been weeks since your friends checked on you. or weeks since you cared to check your notifications. you wanted to feel bad but didn’t wanna explain your actions— you just didn’t care anymore.

don’t even get yourself started on the mirror, it was your worst enemy yet you couldn’t live without it. it dictated everything, if you were good looking, if you should eat that day, if your even worthy of anything.

you never wished for the curves you had, if your chest was flatter maybe you would’ve been happier. why was life such a pit of darkness for you and you can’t help but get even more annoyed.

breaking you out of your thoughts you hear a knock on your window. which was odd due to the thunder in the warm New York weather.

you slowly got up from your bed, walking to the window while trying to defeat the lightness your head felt.

moving your curtains to the side you see your boyfriend, miles. you thought he would be mad for you ghosting him, that he was here to call it quits on your relationship.

instead he looked at you with worry in his eyes. which made you even more guilty.

before you can react after opening your window, he jumps in and pulls you into a hug. he could tell you haven’t been sleeping, eating or taking care of yourself.

the room stayed silent, the once sorrow filled room contained comfort and longing for one another.

this one hug finally helped you let it all out. your sobs grew louder and louder causing miles to rub your back.

“shh it’s okay..” he whispered into your ear

“I’m so sorry..” you repeated.

he moved you to your bed to let you lay down. he turned on your fan to help cool you down.

“your so beautiful..” he muttered, even if you didn’t feel that often, it meant a lot hearing it from him

once you finally calmed he got you some water and a nice massage while he let you talk.

“i am sorry for ghosting you-“ you started before he interrupted you

“don’t apologize for how you feel.” he said.

“why does everything have to be so terrible.” you speak after a hiccup.

“i wish i knew.. we need to take it a day at a time. I’ll be by your side the whole way, if you let me.” miles responds, moving your head onto his shoulder

you nod, wiping a tear streaming down your nose.

“it’s okay to not feel okay. but please don’t do this all alone. I really wanna help you and I don’t want you doing something you might regret.” miles says.

you wrapped an arm around miles as a thank you. when words didn’t come you always needed your actions to express how you feel.

from then on you didn’t have to face your challenges alone, you felt like you had someone to lean on. you promised him to never shut him out again and to let him in.
