you can imagine my complete wtf-ness when i heard this song (the TTS ver.) played in a electronic store. i thought, the fuck someone is a whole many years too late to bring back Mizrock, but then oh, it’s not Mizrock. fuck.
just to put context, Mizrock was one of the first jpop i follow back when 128kbps is the then HQ. i watched her go up and down the minimal fame train and whooshed off to oblivion.
honestly i think about poor Miz a lot whenever i heard this song. it proves that the song don’t make the artists; it’s the artists’ current fanbase who made the song.
then again, this is a great dance tune. would be a waste to just let it die with Miz’s career.

so SME isn't even bothering to make sure they rip off a western artist that Koreans are more likely to not have heard before
actually, I'm not sure how many Koreans listen to jpop/j-urban...so maybe it doesn't make a difference
still anticipating this comeback though since I don't mind remakes as long as they're good.
And Mizrock also did a version. While I dig the video alright, I'm not sure on the music. It's growing on me.
But I think Go!Go!7188's is still my favourite.
Okay, spam over.
