are you going to have anything else in that witch cat pattern? it's cute!

yes! we’re ordering more skirts soon and will get the magicat pattern in both mini and midi skirts! and eventually on journals and other things.

the problem with new designs is that new merch orders (esp skirts) usually take a month+ to manufacture/end up in our hands and during that time i almost always complete a new design, but it’s too late to add it to the order. so that’s why you’ll see me draw a new pattern and then it’s not on the new merch. don’t worry, it’ll be on merch eventually! 

the pipeline just takes a while and i don’t have the liberty of more regularly scheduled design time since even tho the store is what makes money, i have a regular schedule i have to keep up with on my comic if i want to finish it any time soon, which is basically a full time job (albeit one that makes very little money aside from sporadic kickstarters, which pay to create the comic’s merch and not a lot else).

i don’t know if i will be making more washi tape after the current tape sells out! it was fun to try but it’s kind of a pain in the butt.

7. what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium?

SHARKS. Ever since I was a little kid, they've been my favorite. I'm terrified to go swimming or diving in the open ocean, but watching them swim in the tanks makes me happy. And if there are otters? You'll have to bribe me with ice cream before I'll leave.

12. brand of haircare/bodycare/skincare that you trust 100%?

Sort of? I have brands that I buy habitually and there are some that have treated me pretty well. Dove and Herbal Essences have been with me since I was a teenager, and I'm starting to solidify my skincare game. Goldfaden, Korres, and Origins have been pretty good to me and I've gotten some Tatcha samples that are really lovely. Not Your Mother's and Batista dry shampoos regularly save my soul. I like routine and reliability, so if something works, I trust it to keep working.

But then again, I trusted Tresemmé for years and those fuckers were putting something in their shampoo that turned to formaldehyde when mixed with water and now I have scalp issues and thin roots. There was a big lawsuit and the problem has allegedly been fixed, but I'm still never buying their hair products again.

22. do you have an emotional support water bottle?

I dooooo. I have a purple sport bottle with a flip top and a finger loop that I really love. It's seen me through some tough and thirsty times and I get very grumpy if anyone else uses it, even briefly.

29. preferred pasta noodle?

Angel hair spaghetti or rotini, depending on the dish. Penne's all right too. It's a classic for a reason.

are you going to make washi tape in the witch hat design?

my wife tried to mock it up but it just didn’t look very good... the broomsticks would either have to be removed or made horizontal (which looked bad) and the witch hat didn’t read well that small and without those it wasn’t really a witch design
