I know that in canon (at least from the limited media I’ve consumed) Booster Gold hasn’t been to knowledgeable about history (again all I’ve really seen with him is in series) but I think it would be really funny if he was a huge history geek but doesn’t want to seem like a nerd so he never mentions that he knows all of this until he meets someone’s sidekick who is like- his favorite hero in history and starts confusing everyone around him because booster this kid did not defeat staro and vandal savage (almost)single handedly wtf????

Reading Recommendation

Rudyard Kipling was an imperialist hack. If you want a good adventure story set in the colonial era, I’d recommend MJ Carter’s Blake and Avery Series. It is both a clever homage to and a hilarious satire of those “adventuring novels” that were so popular with a particular class of British boarding school types way back when.

Or even better, give R.K. Narayan a read.

Lyric (advertisementofaffection) as MJ Carter Lyric Bowman is 19-years-old and cannot fathom how to make this bio interesting. She would like to start by saying she is unbelievably excited to be MJ, because it’s the type of role she would’ve punched someone in the face to play when she was actually 16. She’s just grateful she gets the chance now. Lyric is exhausted by the cat vs dog debate, partially because she’s a Libra and couldn’t make a decision if her life depended on it.
