Johnny didn't always have that million dollar smile. As a kid one of his biggest insecurities was his crooked teeth, which his father was quick to fix with highest the grade, but ugliest braces money can buy; because no son of his was going to be walking around looking so homely. Once the braces were off however, it was like he was a totally new person. With compliments pouring in from all of his classmates, it was just the begining to his ever growing ego.

If you ask Johnny at the peak of his stardom about it, he'll tell you those 2 years of ridicule was worth the major glow up, ask Johnny now however, and he'll tell how his father's focus on his appearance definitely had some lasting affects on his overall outlook after that, and not in a good way.

5. Crying

Let's get one thing straight: Sonya Blade doesn't weep. There were no tears of pain when Cassie was born, no tears of joy at her wedding, no tears of sadness at her subsequent divorce. Even during her final moments in this world, she managed to hold back tears to give her final orders to her daughter.

That isn't to say however, that she has never shed a tear before. Sonya is a relatively cool and collective individual and rarely let's her emotions over take here. The only times people can recall ever seeing a twinkle of a tear in her eye, was when she was mad; not her run of the mill anger, but those moments of pure unbridled fury. Those around her have learned to fear her tears because if you managed to make the General mad enough to cry, well you might as well write your will out now.

15. Hands

Kung Lao's hands are rough and calloused from all of the tiny scarring caused by training with his hat. That being said he still somehow manages to have such a gentle way of handling things that it almost doesn't matter. From holding a young monks hands to help guide his form, carrying one of his many rabbits, to the one time he had to help Liu Kang pop his shoulder back into its socket after a sparring session went south, you'll never hear anyone complain that his hands are too rough because he's just so good at gingerly using them. Don't even get me started on massages.

26. Beauty

Edenia's queen had always been revered for her beauty, but for some time she felt that was all she was revered for. Many would site Sindel's beautiful hair or melodious voice as their favorite thing about their queen and she was beginning to grow tired of it. While her citizens meant no disrespect in their constant praise of her beauty, she felt it made her people vunerable if their queen was only known for her beauty. So she decided used this to her advantage the only way she knew how, by weaponizing that beauty and becoming a powerful warrior in the process. No longer would the citizens of Edenia be able to talk about what made Sindel beautiful without mentioning how it made her deadly as well.

He knows its effects. You're aware that he knows, but it's not as if you could resist temptation when his eyes twinkle in mischief. The log cabin was more than a simple pick-me-up stop along the way to a bounty hunt. Figured it was convenient to have a little rest somewhere while licking his wounds. But your entry into his life had now introduced you to the ol' cabin. been reading headcannon’s and something has got me all in a huff. respect to people putting their ideas out there-keep doing what you’re doing-BUT shit like this makes me feel bleh. someone that undermines a partner’s emotions or purposefuly pokes at their partner to see them upset/angry because it’s “entertaining” or “cute” to them is not a sweet or endearing trait, it’s gross and immature. end rant.

It’s fairly easy to fluster Kung Lao. If you catch him off guard with a nude he’ll act fast and immediately put his phone away in his pocket, in fear of someone else seeing it. If someone was around, he’d have a hard time hiding it on his face what exactly he just witnessed. If the coast is clear he’ll pull it out again and take proper look at it with a sheepish goofy smile plastered on his face. He’ll reply with an bombardment of compliments, telling you how stunning you are and how badly he wishes he were with you right now. You’re on his mind for the rest of the day after that.

As for his favorite types of nudes to receive? I think he much prefers seeing you in lingerie or any kind of sexy/flattering outfit. He likes the idea of leaving a little to the imagination, so seeing you confidently pose in your favorite matching lacy underwear or some really form fitting boxer briefs with your finger hooked onto the elastic band just enough to show as much skin as possible without revealing the goods, that’ll get him really riled up.

Even the right skimpy outfit like a really tight short dress that you’re wearing half off the shoulder or a button up with just one too many buttons undone will get him worked up. It’ll get his mind wandering and thinking about how much he can’t wait to come home to you and strip you right out of those clothes.

While Johnny’s interest in acting had been around since he was young, he didn’t necessarily care about whether or not he made it big. He was happy doing local theatre productions.

You wouldn’t think it with the type of movies he does, but Johnny is classically trained in both live theatre and camera acting.

Johnny comes from old money, which made funding his career a lot easier once he got his dad’s approval, speaking of which…

His father was definitely not on board with his interests in acting. He wanted to hear nothing about unless he was trying to go Hollywood. His dad was a “go big or go home” kind of guy.

He begged his dad to let him go to uni for acting which his father agreed to fund ONLY if he makes it big. That put a lot of pressure on Johnny to go Hollywood, warping his ego in the process.

Johnny didn’t get into the acting business until he was as far along his transition as possible (At least transitioned everywhere the public would see, he figured he could afford the rest once his career took off). He didn’t want any trace of his assigned gender to follow him into his career so he made sure that was all fully behind him.

For that same reason he had his top surgery scars surgically removed when it became apparent exactly what kind of roles he was being pigeonholed into (ie the sexy action star that needed to be shirtless).

His chosen name means so much to him, which is why he tattooed it onto his chest as soon as he recovered from top surgery

Sonya was the first person he ever came out to. It was a few months into them dating, when it struck her as odd that the self described “sex machine” Johnny Cage hadn’t tried to initiate sex, so when she tried to, it turned into a much more intense conversation than either of them had anticipated. She was extremely supportive of him, apologizing for trying to push things too fast.

When they had Cassie, Johnny promised himself he’d be a better father to her then his own was to him, and you bet your ass he kept that promise.

He encouraged her in all of her interests and when the time was right, he came out to her as well, being sure to raise her with the mindset of not feeling confined to what society assigns her as.
