Oya's encounter with her old mentor Raiden didn't end well. Although she survived the encounter she didn't without injury. Her lower body was chopped off and she has numerous scars across her body.

She would have died if it wasn't for the intervention of the Soul Chamber. She is thankful to be alive. But she still hold nightmares of that day.
