            --- She heard the door open, and her head snapped up as she pulled her headphones from her ear. She smiled at Eunah, giving her a nod. “Hey! I tried to grab one of the first studios, but they were all occupied; I hope this one is okay.” Chae got to her feet and stretched out her arms, going to get a drink of water and giving Eunah time to stretch too.

Walking into the MK building, Chae took her headphones out of her ears and stashed her phone in her pocket as she made her way to the locker room. She had promised to meet Eunah in one of the studios; both were dance trainees and both worked in a lot of the same sessions, so they had agreed to meet on their own time to practice. Chaeneul was happy with that; anything to get some extra work in. Plus, Eunah wasn’t bad company; Chae just didn’t know her all that well.

Once she was changed into some shorts and a tank top, Chae went to go find a vacant studio, and lucky enough, one of her favourite ones was open. Eunah wasn’t there yet, but Chase wasn’t surprised; she had gotten there quite early, as she was bored of just sitting around her dorm. She sat down in the middle of the hardwood floor and started stretching out her limbs while waiting for her partner for the day to arrive. Her headphones were back in and she was listening to some ACE tracks (their choreography was some of her favourite to dance to), getting in the right mindset and pushing all her worries aside. Now was time to focus on training, on work. Not family troubles or worries about the future. Work.

omg the japanese one means stupid but ig at the same time it kind of means goof so??

I tried to ask my exchange student for that one and she said ‘good enough’ but she didn’t even really look and was thoroughly unhelpful smh. Stupid is kind of close to goof???? i guess???? Closer than I thought I’d be tbh but thank you <3

playing with sora’s hair

Seated on the couch in D.O.E’s living room, Sora faced the TV while Eunah sat behind her, braiding her hair. She wasn’t quite sure how they’d ended up like that, or why she’d invited the trainee over in the first place, but it was very comforting. Almost like having a younger sister, which is something she’d always craved. “Alright, lemme see how you did.”

"Want me to sing you a lullaby?"

“i—” jackson felt his throat dry, feeling parched and desperate to find water. he hadn’t seen eunah in god knows how long, since the scandal itself and what he had done came to light. regret had become the sole emotion he had come to master, spending nights with bottles and wondering where he’d gone wrong in life. 

first he fucked up with him and now both taesik and eunah. it seemed he couldn't do anything right these days.

falling asleep in a training room after spending the day getting down the new choreography, jackson had jolted awake to the ticking of the clock and tears in his eyes, a slight pain in his back from laying in one position for too long. rubbing at his eyes, he had just sat up when the doors to the room had slowly opened up. 

he was almost positive he was still asleep, dreaming something too sweet to be true.

“i—” he licked his lips. “please,” he whispered, his voice hoarse as he motioned her forward with his eyes. he propped himself up against a wall, making room for her beside him. 

even if it were a dream, he would take advantage of it for as long as he could.

Dear Eunah,

You’re so talented, and I feel privileged to watch you grow as a performer. I know you’re going to go far after you debut, and I’m happy to say I got to see you from day one onward. I’m happy to give you any advice or training you want, all you have to do is ask.

I know you look up to me, and while that makes me nervous, I’m honored. I will try my best to not only keep you out of trouble, but stay out of trouble too, so I can still be someone worthy of being looked up to. Don’t worry about the scandal too much; tabloid articles are temporary, and there will be a new one up in a couple days, and all the attention will be off you.
