At last.

It has been a long time coming.

We have waited for so long, trudged through many episodes, but at long last a wrong has finally been righted.

I am so happy that I can now say:

Stompp has ears!

I notice in the new opening the scene with the miraculous box something interesting.

We have the silhouettes of the heroes go by real quickly, so I didn’t notice until I saw this image. Take a look at the silhouettes of King Monkey and Pegasus, both are some of the clearest we have to see. Look familiar? The poses are the poses for the end of their transformation sequence so I did some editing for some that we can see.

Other then Viperion, all the hero poses match pretty spot on. Which means the on Ladybugs right side in the photo with the new heroes that we very clearly, it’s their ending poses.

Rewatching Miraculous

I was rewatching miraculous when I noticed a few things

Kim watched to be a hero in s2 and in s3 he actually became one!

 Also when Master Fu is talking about the ingredients, he talks about how a tear of joy is required for every blend of recipe

and in the s3 finale, HM and Mayura have a decoded grimoire

seeing as how those two adults do not cry easily, it is going to be difficult for them to obtain power ups

also I randomly paused the screen and caught this in the opening...

Is this really the new official Miraculous Ladybug French’s opening ? tHIS IS SO TERRIBLE SORRY I JUST CAN’T. What’s with the “I’m so fragile” line ? This is so wrong and has nothing to do with Marinette’s character ???? I’M SO CONFUSED.

ML Opening Is Anime

Full disclosure: I’m not an anime fan.  I watch maybe one show a year, and that’s because my husband and/or online friend makes me.  Even when I was an anime fan in the late 90s/early 2000s, I still didn’t watch a lot of it.  However, even I noticed this in the few shoujo animes I’ve seen.

Thanks to @c0s7um3t3ch for pointing out the bread in mouth trope in the beginning credits and sparking this idea :D

The majority of the opening credits of Miraculous Ladybug is an anime opening, you guys.  I’m probably not the first person to notice this....but here we go!

Courtesy of TV Tropes, here’s the rundown:

“Panning up to the sky” and “Close ups on the eyes”

These don’t have trope pages yet, but were in a forum post for “Generic Anime Opening”.  This one is a stretch because they’re technically panning up to Mari on the Eiffel Tower, but there’s still sky there...

“The classic image is of someone running down the street with a slice of toast hanging out of their mouth--”

These two are called “Late For School”.  You guys know the one.

“--bumping into important people in a manner that gets the plot started.”

(FYI--I could get into a long discussion about why the cat is “important people”, but just go read my post.)  This is also the “Cute Clumsy Girl” trope.

The Meet Cute “can happen by way of any of an innumerable array of circumstances, so long as there's something cutesy about it”.

This was a stretch since the gum incident would’ve been the actual first meeting between Marinette and Adrien, but we get a light version of “Meet Cute” in the credits.

In the opening credits:

Cat: 1000000, Mari: RIP

That black cat came out of nowhere

and she fell for/because of it

Exit...Stage Left

Adrien comes out of nowhere from the left

either this is symbolism or

...mischievous bad luck black cat with gigantic ears running towards Adrien...
