Hello! I wanted to spend some time with the villains terrorizing Paris.

Backstories:

As I let Chloé keep Pollen/Drrone's miraculous and have plans for Jessica, I made the executive decision that Zoe is a thief back in the USA. She finds and steals the Miraculous of Liberation.

Zoe Lee first wears the necklace in order to keep it someplace secure while she flees the scene. As this is the context she first transforms in, Lirii gives her the power to liberate herself from the scene quickly as a response to her need. With Lirii's miraculous, Zoe gains superspeed and it exhilarates her. The kid uses this to steal and impress her friends Ray, Nelson, Loic, and...

Lila Rossi... acquired the Miraculous of Perception from a kid her age who was presumably on vacation from France with her older brother. She wears Trixx's necklace under her shirt in order to hide its existence from her peers and lie about where she'd been. As a result, she is granted the power to create illusions that 'prove' her false claims.

After an incident in Italy, she moves in with her godmother who lives in America. It is here that she meets and befriends Zoe and by extension the others. The two of them prove to be quite troublesome for the local heroes, especially Sparrow, both in and out of civilian life (not that they know it). They steal and cause trouble with their miraculi for four years before finally learning that there is an actual term for their artifacts and more of them when they hear about...

Gabriel Agreste found the Miraculous of Emotion just hours before learning of his son's passing. He wasn't even in the country. Desperate for a way to lash out at others in his pain, Nooroo grants him the ability to project his emotions onto others. While planning his funeral, the boy's grandfather shows him the remains of Duusuu's cracked broach. The old man takes his only daughter's wedding ring and recreates her son in order to save the future of the man's lineage. They bury any evidence of his legal death, but Gabriel is unable to love this thing- it can never be his son after all.

When Gabriel learns of the legend of a prophecy where all 20 miraculi are united in France and make a reality altering wish, he moves his entire fashion empire to the city where the seer supposedly lived. The facsimile of a child is sent to a suitably prestigious boarding school and out of Gabriel's sight. A few months later, Fu Wang dies and the chase begins.

After a year, Trixx and Lirii return to France and aid him in his quest.

Bonus note about Marinette since everyone else was at least mentioned:

At the end of Season 4, Alya leaves as she was accepted into a summer internship in America before attending university out there. In order to keep Tikki safe and ensure that Alya and Trixx would be alright, Marinette gives her one of the earrings, continuing to wear the other one. This limits Ladybug's abilities, so she dons the mouse to split the difference.

My redesign/rewritting of Gabriel Agreste:

Decided to do a Gabriel Agreste Redesign as the first of my redesign project, cuz I gotta say his old design, the white one and the og just sucked 😭 (sorry Thomas) so yeah I had some fun with it, I wanted to keep his colours (white, red and black) but give him an outfit that would scream to me that he is a wealthy man, who is strict and who is into fashion, maybe even a designer himself, the rose in all his clothing is supposed to symbolise his love to Emilie, that she is always close to his heart, as well as his miraculous, that is hidden under the rose.

In the right below corner (of the last image) we have a look at Gabriel before Emilie succumbed to her desease, I also changed the shape of his glasses to be a bit more “designer looking”

I find it really interesting we can't see Gabriel's face in the poster. Might just be my overanalyzing brain at work here but it feels like it's supposed to be symbolic for something. Eyes are the windows to the soul after all.

Meanwhile Chrysalis' eyes are glowing an even more intense blue.

Then there's the fact that they're in the direction away from the hero they have the deepest connection to. Adrien facing Gabriel and Marinette facing Lila.

So essentially Gabriel is still going to haunt the narrative for a little while longer it looks like. Doesn't exactly mean that Adrien won't learn the truth at the end of Season 6, but I think the fact we can't see Gabriel's eyes and Chat's expression are confirming that poor Adrien is going to go through it even harder with the reveal of his father being a super villain. Adrien feels even less sure about who exactly his father was as a person. So.... yeah the lie is going to definitely backfire.

As for Chrysalis, seems she's going full in on her villain persona and really showing she's emanating the same sort of vibe Monarch was. Honestly you could argue that Gabriel's Monarch era was perhaps the time he was all around his cruelest, which might mean Lila may become even crueler in her own actions to get back at Mari. (Or possibly Kagami if the theory about Lila being Tsurigi's daughter is true)

Ladybug's expression is something interesting too. She isn't shocked or angry, she's serious but... it's kind of a blank expression? Kind of in awe in a way? I don't know how to describe it... But you would think it would be determined or more considering all that's going on and the mental turmoil she's gone through Season 6. Maybe it's confirming that she might go through the mind wipe giving up her Guardianship?

OOOOOOOOORRRRRRRR, this could just be a wicked cool poster they dropped and I might be overanylysing but hey I love when shows or movies do the show don't tell sort of thing for the audience to see it!
