ok i am not a jarren duran defender by any means but after i watched the documentary with my brother, his parents especially his dad was borderline abusive

like throwing baseballs at your son who's like 7 or 8 because he's not doing that well

why do parents feel the need to groom their kids into becoming professional athletes

im sorry maybe it's just because i grew up doing soccer and despite having a soccer dad he NEVER did anything like that to me or any of my other siblings who did sports (and i have a brother who did baseball for 8 years)

no like i totally get this. it's crazy how parents will just straight up abuse their kids, let them into the world, and then expect them to be just fine. i think jarren is (unfortunately) a good example of this.

i'm mostly indifferent towards him but i am so glad that he is very transparent about his mental health and is a strong advocate for it!

UHH I’m the girl who had the tea of the start of June I asked my friend she didn’t say much because she went inside and was across from them for a minute she’s definitely not blonde she had dark hair and she said she didn’t look white she kinda looked hispanic so i don’t know who that other girl from that game is, all my friend said was she thought that was his girlfriend by how they look like they were so into each other even when he was looking at her and talking she did catch how he grabbed her hand and were both laughing like if they were in there own little world because when my friend left with her people they were still there. I think it’s fair to say the girl bragging in the stands could be lying about him being her man

also jarren doesnt seem to understand that how his parents treated him was abuse which is normal but i do think that that plays a part in how he acts

its very obvious that part of the reason he got sooooo mad that easily is because of the way he grew up

no parent throws baseballs at their kids for fun his dad was clearly mad at him and took out his anger violently (yes throwing baseballs at your 7-8 yr old son is a form of violence) so im not suprised that jarren seems to possibly have at least some anger issues regarding hecklers because of his environment as a kid

also even bryce harper as problematic and hot tempered as he is has never called a fan a slur or offensive which says a lot considering he was literally thrown into the league at like 18 and phillies fans can be insane

Nick Bosa. In my personal opinion, he’s genuinely not a good person—very rude and entitled in real life. I just can’t comprehend how Joe even associates with him because Joe is nothing like that.

As for the MLB, let’s talk about Bryce Harper, who embodies the definition of a misogynistic, egotistical jerk—with hints of racism to boot. His also a big Mormon.

And don’t even get me started on Taylor Hall from the NHL—just yikes! Whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Trust me.

Jarren Duran treats women like shit and it’s so sad. There was a blog on here a couple of years back and they shared some texts from a girl he was seeing and they ended up deleting them but it was someone he’d messed around with and he flipped out on her…not pretty. Also, he seems to go for girls a lot younger than him. He’s 29 next month. I thought we all thought that was creepy.
