Just watched the Secret Protocol trailer.
Here's my sepculation(s).
How do you think Adrien/Chat Noir would react after finding out the truth?
It honestly depends on how he finds out.
If he read the letter, he'd be confused about why Ladybug lied and probably think she was tricked.
If Ladybug tells him as Adrien, he's gonna be a bit mad, but still forgive her because she told him at the end.
If Adrichat finds out like Alya did (not Ladybug's Identity, though), he's gonna be mad at her at first, but then also think that he, as Chat Noir, didn't deserve to be told because he wasn't there for her in the final battle.
There are scenarios where I do not know how he'd react, like if Ladybug tells Chat Noir, if he also finds out Ladybug's identity or if Plagg, Nathalie, Kagami or Felix tells him.
Of course, He's gonna be sad that he catalysm'd Gabriel no matter how he's told, but I also think it'd be a relief for Adrien, because he gets the closure he needs, and he doesn't need to worry about Monarch's family taking revenge on Chat Noir.
It's weird seeing people say, "Adrien doesn't need/have to know the truth"
Because, like
1. The same can go for Marinette— she doesn't have to lie, but she still does.
2. It's not about what he needs to know. It's about what he should know. And he should know, both because of closure and to make (in my opinion) the story work
3. He actually needs to know how important the rings are so that his life won't be in danger.
What do you think is going to happen in a one-sided reveal scenario?
Meaning Marinette finds out that Adrien is Chat Noir (and he doesn't know she knows)
I legit have thought the same question.
But it's really likely she'll double down with her lies, because of the Cataclysm and just the fact that Chat Noir and Monarch were enemies.
