I got curious again and checked the Ao3 tags for MLB character bashing, note that I don't have an Ao3 account so I can't see locked fics so the exact numbers may be a little off but I've tried to be as accurate as I can. As of November 17 when I checked the tags to make this post, there are 70,589 works with the Miraculous Ladybug fandom tag.

Lila sure gets a lot of salt, huh? She's the most salted character in the MLB fandom according to the Ao3 tags, especially since she's only tagged in 6,982 works. So she gets bashed in 27.757089659123% of the fics she appears in according to a percentage calculator. Neat thing to know.
Why am I making this post to begin with? I reblogged a post from @ilikekidsshows about Adrien salt blogs in the past and how Maripoligists are now crying and trying to claim that the fandom's third most hated character is gaining unfair favouritism within the fandom. This is despite how he has over 3 times the salt fics Marinette has, despite how he appears in 49,932 fics compared to the 55,547 she appears in. Marinette gets bashed in 0.31504851747169% of the fics she appears in yet Maripoligists will bitch and moan that there shouldn't be any salt fics of their precious angel Marinette at all, crying and screaming that she's being unfairly criticised by the fandom and needs to be protected from the unjust haters while they ignore how she's present in 78.690730850416% of MLB fics.
Of course people are going through Marinette Fatigue when we can't fucking escape her, she still shows up in fics as the ship tags when filtering her name out! Of course people are tired of both the canon show and the fandom coddling her with kid gloves while annihilating every other character for every slight imaginable, canonical or otherwise. Of course people want to see Marinette get the same salt treatment that every other character got, especially since it can be so hard to find.
