Meet Silver Lining!

Her special talent is optimism- she can always find a way to turn a bad situation into something positive. Make no mistake, though, she's had her fair share of tears,and knows when it's better to make the silver lining rather than just see it.

Silv is about as cheerful as can be, but expresses herself in a soft-spoken manner.

Fun fact! Her cutiemark is based on the g3 Silver Lining, who was a toy only and never had a TV appearance

let's give some "they're just evil" characters some actual depth and backstory and reasoning

important to note: "monster" is a Type of Creature similar to "pony" (which encompasses all pony types/variations). monsters are creatures that aren't part of a 'species' like ponies or dragons and generally cause instinctive fear in ponies. most monsters were created by Grogar (either directly during the age of monsters or just coming into existence from his lingering magic)

I decided to make my own big ridiculous poorly formatted headcannon / world explanation thing for myself that I want to share with the internet.

There's an overlap of a lot of generations & organizing a lot of the species, from the mess that is sea ponies to the little known jewel ponies :3

It's hard to sort all of these into categories due to the large amount of overlap, so I did my best with these three: Earth, flight, & gems.

twilight is now a third alicorn that Celestia and Luna are very interested in. fluttershy desperately wants her highly traumatised and distant best friend back. dash and aj are very quickly becoming legendary heroes. and rarity and pinkie pie are single hoofedly making world peace a viable option
