Wip! I am basically finished with the rig, I’m gonna redo the face cause I realized I could’ve done it so it’s cleaner for me to work with. I haven’t set up any smart actions/dials yet, that’ll be the next task. I think she looks ok but I wanna try to make the animation “snappier” next time, it’s kinda slow right now and has no squash and stretch. But this was just to test the rig out so it works for that.

I played around with animating the hair loop, uh. It’s real hard but I’m kinda getting it? I had to stop before I lost my mind tho lmao.

So UPDATE! I've been busy moving into a new home with my parents and I'm about to run out of GB before we get the wifi! So this is mostly just to say I won't be active or post anything before the 25! 😭🙏🏻

My Changeling Queen! Her name is either going to be Queen Aphid or Queen Odonata. Kinda leaning towards the former.

I wanted to give her more of a yellowish color palette, but I think I’ll still adjust slightly, don’t want her looking too much like a chrysalis redesign.

In terms of personality, she is a bit different from chrysalis, she genuinely cares for her hive and they are her children. Though she is just as ruthless about her rule and her conquest for her children. She doesn’t collaborate with other hives of her kind, as is typical for changelings. They are like bees after all, they stick to their own hives business for the most part ( and every pony else’s when comes to maintaining their food source). they definately get their nose in the Ponies business, politics, etc etc.
