Caleb admitted it, he was upset. And when Caleb was upset, Caleb ran.
Actually, when Caleb was upset, or confused, or stressed, or happy, or hungry, or breathing, he was playing Ultimate. But today was an exception, because Caleb wanted to be alone.
So here he was, in the back field outside of the nearest high school, running laps on the dirt track, headphones in his ears blasting some shitty Ke$ha song, he couldn't tell, after a while they all sounded the same. His feet pounded on the matted dirt, his heartbeat was echoing in his ears but he pushed on until he felt like passing out. Just when he was sure he was about to fall over, the music cut off suddenly and his phone buzzed in his pocket.
Swearing under his breath and pulling out his iPhone, Caleb saw that the phone call was from Michael. He stopped running and clicked 'accept'. "Hello?" he asked, in between laboured breaths.
