PV appreciation week 3!

Hello everyone! It's time for the third cycle of PV appreciation week! And this time, we have dual prompts for each day! Pick whichever you wish to do!?

PV appreciation week is dedicated to loving the origins of Miraculous Ladybug and all its concepts.

Week 3's dates are...

August 26th: Back to School/ Coffee Date.

School's back in session! Are the kids busy with their studies, or maybe on an after school coffee date? You decide!

August 27th: Myths and Legends/ Late Night.

Monsters, myths, legends and more, or what happens on patrol!

August 28th: Vile and Villanous/ Shut Up and Dance!

What makes the bad guys bad? Is there anything tempting the heroes too? If that isn't your cup of tea, perhaps, maybe the kids should shut up and dance!

August 29th: The Monarch and His Court/ Hidden Powers.

The Monarch does not work alone. Aside from Mime and Pigeon, who's working for him? Or, do the heroes have other things up their sleeves?

August 30th: The Good, The Bad, and The Dirty/Pride.

The battles will each have different outcomes. Which do you choose? Or, show some love with the PV kids and Quantics in pride!

August 31st: The Sun and Moon/ I am Not Like You.

Who is balancing each other? Or, is someone tired of being in the shadows or following in the other's footsteps?

September 1st: CGI to PV Scene/ Mentors.

PV Week Day 5: The Villains

Tried making an animation with a rough sketch. Today’s prompt was to pick a CGI villain and put a PV spin on it. I chose to redesign Stormy Weather as a girl who can summon storm creatures. She likes to cause mischief, but she tries not to hurt anyone. The one time Papillon tried to hire her, she threatened to hit him with a bolt of lightning.

PV Appreciation Week 3: Vile and Villainous/ Shut Up and Dance!

Name: Fredrick Bonnefroy Age: 40 Occupation: Ex-Mechanic, Mercenary Relatives: Penelope Bonnefroy (spouse), Claude Bonnefroy (son) Alias: Monsieur Mime

I have a lot of thoughts about the Mime family and please excuse my exuberance as this is my chance to spill it all

History: Fredrick Bonnefroy lived a relatively normal life, went to school but had to drop out and work in his family’s car shop when finances became too strained. Despite his lack of education, he isn’t dumb by any means. He’s very tactile in his learning and is especially intrigued by how objects are made are made and produced. Knowing how things are made and the cause and effects of them makes him especially handy in the field of mechanics. He met his wife Penelope while working on her car and the two hit it off immediately.

Along with his working in the shop, he also took to becoming a street performing mime as a side job to pick up some extra cash. Even if it was sometimes at his expense, he saw no harm in the hobby. However, natural curiosity pushed him into looking for ways to make his act much more believable and he unknowingly stumbled across the world of magic and charms. His act improved greatly and there was no question that what Fred had been able to achieve was impressive. It wasn’t until he started noticing small changes that he realized what was once innocent dabbling in magic turned dark as unexpected consequences began to set in.

The price of magic coursing through his veins showed superficially in the beginning. His skin began to turn blue, first at his fingertips which in time would spread to the rest of his body. The markings on his face which he used to apply with makeup became permanent and his hair lost it’s color to become a light blonde. But most notably he lost his voice, the vow of silence mimicking that of the mime and the final part of his transformation into a fully magic mime. It doesn’t take long for the powerful to become feared in wake of people who don’t understand.

During the start of it however, Penelope became pregnant and unbeknownst to the both of them, the same mime powers passed from Fredrick into Claude. With a wife and toddler, Fredrick tried his best to stop the transformation but to no avail, hitting dead end after dead end to fix it. Still, he used the powers to give fantastic shows and catches the eye of the future villain known as Papillion or Monarch. Fredrick is met with an offer of substantial payment and a promise to help him be free of the repercussions of his magical pursuits and agrees to the long term contract. 

Over the years he works with Papillion, he creates a friendship and a steadfast loyalty to his employer. Later on when orders lead to more dangerous projects, Fredrick finds being a part of the seedier underground side of Paris didn’t phase him. Paris had never done him any favors so he was simply returning the fact. It’s whenever the goal is within grasp and a rag tag team of supers stand in his way that Fredrick adopts the alias of Mr. Mime and chooses to fight.

Powers: Fredrick’s abilities allow him to mime objects and to be able to see those mimed by others. The smaller an item is and closer proximity, the less he has to focus on maintaining it rather than something large/large quantity and at a distance. Both he and Claude have the same type of miming ability. They are only limited by their imagination which Claude does have more of in comparison. However, Fredrick has more technical know how and in turn it makes his mimed objects more ‘powerful’ (i.e. Claude makes a standard stick of dynamite vs Fredrick making a stick of dynamite with more combustible powders he knows will give a stronger charge).

PV Appreciation Week 3: Back to School/ Coffee Date

First day and I cannot hear coffee without my mind going back to @lapzoli ‘s character Adam Pidge. So obviously, Félix’s afternoon is spent reading at the cafe Adam works at where he gets unlimited coffee and kisses on the house

PV Appreciation Week 3: The Monarch and His Court/ Hidden Powers

“Darling. If you are going to hire help, at least hire people who can achieve success.”

Meet Adalia and the Domino brothers! While Gabriel runs his political game in the daylight, Adalia helps him run the underground circuit after hours. She is a take no prisoners, no mercy type of gal in the workplace. Gabriel may be boss but she definitely makes her opinions known when her husband starts losing to children. It’s only when her loyal and hired muscle receive their first loss against them that the irritation between her and the heroes becomes personal.

Their design are based off canon! [X] Well sorta? I mean they obviously didn’t make it into the final production and i dunno what or who they are but i thought this would be fun.
