So uhhhh future lore for MLUAU cause I just kinda seem to post whatever I'm in my feels over in the moment: Legend's kids! I just care them all so much and wanted to share quick, more info on each kiddo below the cut

I always kinda thought Legend would be a good dad and Arin agreed and ajskkd they shared the brilliant idea that he has a kid to represent each adventure from his games (I'm still not over it 😭)

So Glen (named after Links Dad) is inspired by A Link to the Past- he's got his dad's rebellious streak and a love for retro vibes

Aster is inspired by the Oracle games, he's a big softie and loves fairytales ♡ The Oracle games were a bit of a two in one deal, and Aster did have a twin sister, Autumn, but they lost her too soon.

Ivy is inspired by Links Awakening, she's a daydreamer with a big imagination and her dad's knack for music.

Sean is inspired by A Link Between Worlds, and is Glen's partern in crime. The two are buddies and get into all sorts of mischief together. Arin worded it best when they put it: the two poke into places both highrule and lowrule and must be stopped ajskkskd Sean's into a little more modern stuff than his brother though, super interested in sci-fi and tech.

And little Willow is inspired by Triforce Heroes! She's the most outgoing and emotional of the bunch, and is their little fashionista

Ahh this ones almost done actually! Just trying to decide how far to take the rendering but here’s a bit of a sneak peek

MLUAU Hyrule likes to paint on his walls, it’s kind of an escape for the guy and idk gosh I really care this artist dude TvT (Also a sneak peek of Little Buddy beloved)

Okay, I guess I wasn't really planning to share all of these just yet but I got too excited ajsjkd MLUAU Wild has been on the brain the past few days and just,,, many sketches. Context spam incoming ajsjkd

So this Wild has a really successful YouTube channel (part gaming part cooking) and streams regularly. He has a doggo named Charlie and the two are inseparable 🥺💕 Then yeah! For the others we've got him coaching Wind in some battle strats (Winds been a fan for a while and was ecstatic to learn Wild lived in the same area akskdk) a jam session with Legend (Wilds been trying to pick up the bass and the two really enjoy playing together) and,,, a quick one of him freezing up on a stream. He'll be okay though 🥺

But yeah I'm excited! Really starting to get the feel for this lad down for the au, he's softer and a little shy off camera and I love him with all my heart 😅 Maybe we'll end up sharing more backstory at some point, we'll see, we definitely have a lot more planned with him and all the others tbh but if you read this far thanks so much! ♡♡♡ Love you all ♡

High key surprised anyone noticed this!! 😅 Arin gave the okay to share what happened though sooo... here goes, real answer time. (Its pretty heavy though so, TWs for fire, memory loss, major injuries, and minor character death.)

They're scars yeah, burn scars. When Wild was 16 there was... an accident. There may or may not have been a fire and he may or may not have tried to save his little sister from it and... he may or may not have barely made it out alive while she didn't. When he finally came to he didn't remember much at all, and hardly recognized his own parents. He ended up transferring to a new school not long afterwards for a fresh start, met Hyrule there and the two are best friends 🥺 He started his YouTube channel around this time too, it gave him something to do and have fun with while being a way to have a backup if he were to ever forget things again.

Poor Legend, My knees swell in cold weather and become painful, I imagine his ankle would react poorly to cold temperatures as well :(

Yeah, winter isnt a great time of year for MLUAU Legend at all tbh... between his ankle acting up and dealing with a weak immune system and lungs-- yeah he's got a lot going on we haven't really said too much about yet 😔

Does Legend secretly dance ballet?

Ah that would be really cool 🥺 but Legends got an ankle injury that was really bad and never healed quite right. He loves Bhangra and learned swing but he's already pushing it with those and has to ice his ankle afterwards. Tbh his uncle's not happy that he even continues to dance at all 😔 I don't think his ankle could handle the stress ballet would put on it, as much as he might like to try.

I thought of some things I doodled that I could post so this place isnt completely dead for the next week but ajdjdkkd they may be completely cursed I'll let you guys be the judge of that. Anyways... for modern AU, it's already been decided Time has a beard (he's lost mustache rights though I think XD)

Sky has a beard at least in the fall and winter (still trying to decide if it's a year round thing or not jajdjd) nd Warrs just has scruff sometimes

And THEN Arin and I were trying to decide if anyone else has or would ever have facial hair and these were born... Legend (think natural and dyed hair/beard, idk if he pulls it off or not)

Poor Wild no words can describe my emotions drawing this. I have no idea if it works or not. Akskdkdk let me know if you guys think I should sketch out any of the other lads sometime too akskkdkd

why does wild freeze up?? DOES HE HAVE AMNESIA HERE TOO!!! or is it like traumatic something that was jogged by a comment on the live stream. does this happen regularly or is it pretty subtle. does anyone else know?? does charlie help with his nightmares if any. this has been on my mind for the past 36 hours. love ur work by the way modern lu rules

Ah I'm glad you're enjoying the modern AU content anon, we've been having a lot of fun with it!! @scarin-aaarin is actually the brain behind the majority of world building and stuff, so here's what they had to say about Wild!

Wild's memory is compromised, not exactly gone 100%, but he's just prone to anxiety and panic attacks for a lot of reasons. They'll happen naturally but he also has this dependency on caffeine so that doesnt help sbfdkj. Streams can get glimpses of them but he has that power to just turn off the camera and such lmaooooo and I'd say the other links know about them but I'd think that'd be about it. Charlie helps but he's not like a trained dog or anything, just a buddy.
