i had a thought-

So my 'Grief AU' is an au where basically, Shinya leaves for work one day and doesn't come back home (not related to any canon stuff but he does die-)

And Tsunagu is left alone to both grieve the love of his life, and take care of their tiny baby (yes I am dragging Izumi into this) all by himself.

Now. Since Christmas is coming up. Whatever you do...

Don't imagine: Tsunagu holding this tiny baby in his arms while looking up at a big public Christmas tree that had just gotten lit up, the baby has been crying, but she stops as soon as she sees the lights.

And- just for a moment, Tsunagu swears he could see Shinya for just a moment, as he stares at the lights that shine as brightly as his loved one's eyes once did.
