Todays Mantra.

Holy Affirmations...
Indeed! I had to stop working just to write this post because my mind was totally blown away.
Last week (or the week before?) I saw on my Facebook feed from Doreen Virtue, author, about her book Angel Words: Visual Evidence of How Words Can Be Angels in Your Life. I decided to purchase the book this weekend and download it on my Kindle. I started to read the book and immediately was drawn in. I have been doing a lot of Soul Searching and searching for ways to improve my life as opposed to always playing the victim. I am not a victim in anyway but most of you know that it is easier to feel self-pity than to act and make an improvement.
Well, I must have read about half of Doreen Virtue's Book that night. I picked up my journal and started to take notes about what I was reading. Basically, aside from the fact that you MUST read this book, I jotted down some personal affirmations to improve a few of my situations. My two biggest concerns (or negative mantras) now a days seem to be "I have the memory of a Gold Fish... I can't remember sh*t" and "I just don't have enough time". Her book got me thinking about reversing those statements into something constructive instead of them being something destructive.
My new Memory Mantra (or Affirmation) is "I have a perfect memory. I am able to remember every single detail of my life, family, friends and clients".
My new Time Mantra is: "I have an an abundance of time to complete the tasks I need to complete and the tasks I want to complete and have plenty left over to spare and share".
I have a money, business and health ones too. In the last day I have focused on the two above (specifically on the time one). Today feels like it has gone by so slow. I finished having lunch with my family at 1pm and we washed dishes, I did some other things, downloaded some images and edited about half of them all in about 1 hour. That would normally take me at least 3! That blew me away. I shall continue with my time mantra. I am still working on the memory one but I just wanted to share that with you because what you think and say is crucial to the outcome of your life.
In Love and Light,
UhnGaya,
