View Mix ‘n’ Mash: XOXO Through March 5th
Earlier this month, Mexic-Arte Museum hosted an energetic and successful opening night reception for Mix ‘n’ Mash: XOXO, an annual group art exhibition featuring over 200 local and regional artists. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, artists, friends and family, and other art enthusiasts enjoyed a wide variety of creative artworks, which contemplated themes, icons and symbols of love. Guests had the opportunity to screen print love-inspired greeting cards, and purchase artwork by Mix ‘n’ Mash artists, as well as by Changarrito artist Mark Puente. With DJ uLOVEi spinning romantic records, specialty cocktails sponsored by Dulce Vida Tequila, a make-your-own tostada bar, and usherettes passing out candy and ice cream from La Costeñita Paleteria, opening night was one to remember!
