I just saw the trailer for the Moana remake (derogatory) and let’s just say I think it would be a damn shame if they casted Kathryn Hahn as Mother Gothel just to cancel the Tangled remake, but that’s a sacrifice I am willing to make

---you can't even lie and say this is about nostalgia anymore-- the movie is SEVEN years old. Who is the nostalgia for? The movie's still fresh! this is just an obvious desperate cash grab after things like Lightyear, Strange World, and Pinocchio all fucking BOMBED.

So if you didn't already know, Disney is making a live-action remake of Moana with all the same actors. And there's a 85% chance it's just the Rock on a rebound after Black Adam flopped. So yeah, not excited. The Moana TV series though- that sounds awesome.
