it makes me crazy insane how little we lnow of reigen’s backstory
we can gather that he has a sister, father, and mother.
we see in season 1, when discussing with one of the claw members to try and bond with him, mentioning a one off time his parents forgot something for school and he was embarrassed for the whole day (i don’t remember exactly what it was)
we never hear anything about them in the manga and the only time we see something in the show is in separation arc. reigen is excited that he gets a notification but is entirely silent once realizing it’s his mother. of course he mostly reacts this way to find out it wasn’t a friend but it makes me question their relationship.
the final time we something about his past is when an interviewee at the press conference asks him about his high school essay, how he wants to be someone.
that is. basically all we know, of course we can piece together that hid parents probably were basic and supporting but still absent most of the time, i believe it’s known he might have a good relationship with his sister but it isn’t confirmed. and from the previous point we know he probably didn’t have many friends, but again this is all just guessing.
i would do anything for a backstory on this guy, please
