Nate was born to a loving, newly married couple who had him before they were ready, but he was their second child and first son who they couldn’t help but adore.

He had a fire personality his entire life, dedicated to being a jock and living the chill life all at the same time. Sports were just a thing to do in his small town outside of LA, but he new he would never make it big.

The boy loved to box, play guitar, football, basketball, just do it all to get him out of his thoughts and out of classes in high school whenever and however.

Though his dream was to open a gym, Nate went into real estate when Business school didn’t go how it planned. He was constantly failing his classes and letting his family down, his older sister was a teenage mom and his younger siblings all looked up to him. Especially after their dad passed unexpectedly and tragically.

In college, Nate started to experience with all different kinds of drugs. Outside of drinking, he needed more to coat the pain and then even more to get through the day. 

His mom would be absolutely crushed to see that he has used what evidentially got his father killed. Maybe it was a way of coping? Testing? Seeing his limits?  Luke Thompson was killed in a drive by over a misunderstanding of weed with a neighbor of theirs. It was tragic and Nate has yet to receive or seek help for it like he should have, but being the one that witnessed it all, he didn’t even know where to start.

So against his mothers wishes, he didn’t seek therapy and went to college instead. That’s when and where he began partying, joined a frat and got lost in the craziness of an upstate California university.

Now a days, he’s a big shot real estate agent who owns his own section of a company. It is his way of helping other families and couples unlike what he couldn’t do for his own when they needed him the most and saved his dad.

He still supports and helps his mom, his older sister with her kids along with his younger siblings. It’s just what he knows how to do best and he uses it as a way to feel better about himself and over his addiction.

Eos Erikdottir was born on June 12th to Erik Solason the spiritual leader and founder of The Prophets of the New Dawn. Thought to be a prophet and eventual vessel of the deity they worship, her life and destiny was written out for her. When her mother grew disillusioned with the cult, she knew that she and her daughter couldn’t escape as things were, so instead she did everything she could to show Eos the world outside of what Erik had created, and would do so until her death when Eos was 16

Following her mother’s death, Eos realized that she didn’t want the life that was set up for her, especially as her father’s preaching grew more and more violent, and ‘purging the world of evil’ started to sound a lot more like ‘purging the world of anyone except the cult members.’ Realizing that she would never be able to leave with her father’s blessing, she started planning her escape. 

Her only true friend within the cult, Jessie, was essentially assigned to be her guardian since she was born when he was 5. He was meant to both protect her and keep her loyal to the cult, but her father didn’t expect him to be loyal to her over him. When Eos wanted out, Jessie was the one who helped put everything together, and ended up staying with them to both keep them off her trail and feeding her info as they searched for her. Upon her escape when she was 17, Eos jumped from place to place for the better part of 8 years. Changing her name with each new place she moved to she did everything from flop houses to an on location housekeeper, before finally settling in Chicago under the name Robin Cousteau. She opened up a custom jewelry shop, and has lived off of low profile but high paying commissions that keep her afloat while not drawing attention that her father could pick up on. She’s been in town for almost a year now, but it still very wary of putting down roots, especially given how quiet Jessie’s been.

Robin is extremely evasive about her past, and would rather have people think she’s an escaped convict than know the truth. Wary around strangers, she’s slow to trust and make friends given her past and knowing too well that one wrong move could mean her being found. She has no qualms about manipulating others if it means keeping herself safe and hidden. That being said, she’s never been one to turn a blind eye to trouble, and does what she can to help others, even if its not something they recognize or credit her for. She’s also incredibly loyal to those who do manage to break down her walls, even though she’s never fully revealed her past. The only other person who knows the truth about her past is Jessie, and she intends to keep it that way.

Some other random facts: She’s ambidextrous and extremely good with her hands, but can also be very clumsy on her feet. On a similar note she cannot dance to save her life, except for tango, which her mother taught her as a child. She’s no stranger to sex but has never been in a real relationship because she’s been on the run so long and doesn’t know if she’s ready to ground herself like that. She has a western hog nose named Loki, 29 succulents in her apartment, and has a habit of feeding the crows that hang around her place - she’s named each of them, and can tell them apart, and even makes jewelry out of the shinies they leave her in return.

amelia was born as an only child. her childhood was quite sad and tragic. she has never met her father and her mother died when she was just two years old. she was raised by her lovely granny who lives nearby her and she visits her quite often. basically, she is all her family

even though she didn't have two important people in everybody's life, she had quite a normal and stereotypical life. she wasn't a problematic teenager and she did quite good at school. 

after high school, her grandmother wanted her to go to college and be a lawyer or doctor because she wanted to make sure that she will be good after she won't be here one day but that wasn't what mia planned. she has always loved to dance and she wanted this to be her path in future 

after her admissions to dance program in college her grandma finally saw that it wasn't just passion but that her granddaughter was really talented 

after college, she performed in a few theater performances, musicals, music videos. and also events. that was probably where she met her future husband, her fiance mr. wilson 

at the beginning, she wasn't very interested but after some time she gave him a chance and look where they are now 

dance in public places or occasions wasn't the only thing amelia wanted to do, she also wanted to teach and transmit the joy from dancing so she opened her own dance studio

william was born and raised in the united kingdom where he spent most of his life with his mother and his younger siblings. his father left the family when the kids were still young, pursuing a career as a business man in the united states. the other children - who barely knew their father - were quick to adjust to his disappearance, but liam suffered from the sudden changes and it started a phase he never really left behind... 

in spite of the fact that he was smart and could have achieved pretty much anything in life, he spent most of his time doing the exact opposite from what he should have done. once he was old enough, he snuck out into clubs where he learned how to numb his feelings with girls and alcohol. things got out of control and at some point after his twentieth birthday his mother sent him off to america, fearing that his father’s authority might be the only thing that could really save him. 

spoiler alert, being with his father did not exactly save him, but it forced him to follow his rules. what else was he supposed to do in a foreign country with no friends and a real threat looming over him: mister atkins threatened to cut him off.

choosing money over rebellion, liam stayed in the us where he continued to study until he became a professor. why on earth would he do something like that? well, teaching at a college certainly has its perks and one of those perks could get him into very serious trouble... he recently started to hook up with one of his students - he knows it’s very wrong, but hey. there’s something wrong with pretty much everything, right? fatalist alert.

most people who meet him have a tendency of thinking that he is a total dick, but trust me, if you manage to look past that he can be one big puppy. his friends mean the whole world to him and he spoils them in any way that he possibly can.

- I haven’t really considered Seth’s past too much yet, but basically he had a shitty childhood, didn’t have much money etc. He’s lived a lot of places and usually ends up working as a mechanic, he’s a big fan of vintage. 

- He’s tried really hard to stay out of trouble, but he has a temper which means he’s gotten in a few fights. It wasn’t until he moved to Chicago did he find it harder to manage and made a deal with his plug to make some $$$ on the side.

michelle was diagnosed with aml (acute myeloid leukemia) just before christmas. she hasn't told anybody yet because she doesn't know how, but people that frequent the coffee shop and know her will probably notice that she's a bit different. she's really tired, she's lost some color, and she's starting to lose her hair due to the chemotherapy, so if you see a random piece of colorful hair just laying on the furniture, it's probably hers. she's been wearing hats lately, which is unlike her because she's always hated covering her hair because she likes to show it off (it brings her more business to the hair salon she owns/works at because she does her own hair), so anyone that knows her that sees her with a hat on will probably be suspicious

michelle loves to color. if she's not sleeping or reading, you'll find her coloring

she's also a flirt. she's gotten herself into some trouble with girlfriends, boyfriends, and wives in the past because she doesn't think to ask if someone is in a relationship before flirting with another person (although she hasn't flirted on purpose since she's been in a relationship)
