Heyaaa thank you!! Lately some of my fave brands are:

Worst behavior (street style, very baggy)

Lagemma design (cute but chic at the same time)

Candy stripper (very playful)

I also really like the style from Ader Error & Acne Studios but they’re too pricey for me ahaha

Oooh and I also really like the clothes from the artist/tattoo artist gakkinx!!! I have two long sleeve shirts from them and they’re one of my faves!!

after a night of emotional ranting i have come up with a theory that mamoru is koki’s lila, please read more to let me drag you down with me

on the subject of their songs:

alive’s xlieds seem have the theme of ‘love song’, as shown in their magazine interviews.

mamoru’s リレイズ -Reraise- is quite explicit in its meaning and intention. when you listen to it, it’s very obvious that he’s speaking to the members of growth, perhaps with an emphasis on koki for obvious reasons, since he was the one who picked him off the streets and all.

but it took me a while to realize that koki’s song, リーラの調べ  (melody of Lila) could also be intended... for mamoru??

so i decided to look through each song and compare parts that seem to relate to one another, and found the following parallels:

i feel like there are an awful lot of straight up parallels between these two songs. i’ve even gone to the extent of looking through other xlieds to see if any other songs communicate so closely to each other, but none quite like these two!

with how lila no shirabe was released before reraise, it almost feels like a declaration of love and an answer of gratitude, don’t you think?

and while mamoru did compose koki’s song (and everyone else in growth for that matter), a twitter dialog from the ALIVE twitter has koki revealing to sora that he had helped with the lyrics for his song.

on the subject of ‘lila’:

lila - in the song, it refers to a ‘somebody’. the somebody who is the recipient of kou-kun’s love song.

from a translator’s notes i’ve seen, it appears lila can also mean/refer to ‘lilac’ in spanish. in lila no shirabe’s pv, you can see what appears to be lilac flowers, and purple petals fluttering across the screen.

a few actual lilacs for your viewing pleasure

now guess whose image colour is purple and has been drawn with what appears to be lilac flowers in the past...?

one last point; let’s also think back on the title of koki’s song - the melody of lila. who in their group is the one who makes melodies, i wonder...?

disclaimers: i have seen no explicit statement about growth’s first album cover, so i can’t be sure that the flowers tohiro-sensei drew mamoru with are lilacs. but they sure look like it
