Gotta admit at first I was Team Gale ALL THE WAY but after I saw the epilogue i just can't I turned to TEAM PEETA BECAUSE HAVE YOU SEEN THAT SCENE ? IT WAS SO CUTE I CAN'T! IN MOCKINGJAY PART 2 I FINALLY REALIZED THAT KATNISS TRULY LOVES PEETA OHMYFUCKINGGOD SOMEONE WAKES ME UP FROM THIS MESS :")
Okay but now i’m a little bit obsessed with Mockingjay ending scene because its just so similar to the book word by word even though Katniss didn’t sing that song but ending is just so cute I CAN’T ASDFJKDLAJSLSDHDKLS HALP
In a way the ending of Mockingjay is a happy ending it depends on how you look at it
Reason 1. 23 childern aren't being murdered every year.
Reason 2. After everything the happend, everyone found happiniss in a way.
Reason 3. After some time Peeta become himself again.
Reason 4. The capitol isn't controlling everything
Reason 5. KATNISS AND PEETA HAVE KIDS!!
I don't get why people were complaining about the ending of mockingjay. What did you think was gonna happen?
A magic fairy was gonna come and bring Rue, Thresh, Cinna, Mags, Finnick, Boggs, and Prim back to life?
Show would take some happy pills and stop being evil?
The fairy would cast a spell and make Peeta normal againe?
NO! Because the hunger games wasn't a fairy tale
So I finished mockingjay...
The ending was good, but not great and not exactly the ending I desired. I love that peeta and Katniss are together, I really do. However the ending was too 'happy' for me. To be honest I wanted evil to prevail, I wanted an ending that summed up the fact that the human race will never change and that no matter what we will continue hurting people for our 'greater good' no matter what that 'good' is. As an alternative ending I would have liked it to return to where it all started, the attempted suicide in the first games. Except peeta and katniss would be successful . It's not cheery or nice, but I believe this would create a bigger impact the reader. But I wasn't disappointed with the way the past was summed up at the end, it really hit hard and was effective. "there are much worse games to play"

I love the hunger games ave I just finished reading mockingjay. I must say though that I was slightly disappointed with the evening ending. Why do epilogues (including HP) have to be so sickly sweet. Yea, sure it was depressing too but come on! Where's the fierceness we saw in the rest of the books. Also, im not too sure if im 100% happy with katniss's boy choice.. I partly get it but nothing else is said about the none chosen one ( im being careful here, as I know people who haven't finished it yet) I always liked him. I needed more into!! So excited to see the movie though. Sad to here they've taken oit the gore. That's one of the great things about the book. How are they going to cope when they get to mockingjay? It's not a children's book dammit! Thoughts?
