psssstttt part of the misogynistic thing about reducing women to certain characteristics and being transphobic by applying them to transmasculine people is "having a vagina and being okay with it" or "wanting a vagina"

because not all women have vaginas obviously

and not all women without vaginas want them

also i say "vagina" and mean the typical view of what a vagina is but i have one of those and i don't usually call it a vagina

and someone with the typical view of a penis may call their genitalia a vagina

what the fuck is "female genitalia" if female-identified people have this whole sliding scale of genitalia that doesn't look the same and isn't classified the same way and is sometimes really ambiguous

are we going with science here

because no matter how medically accurate it is, if someone calls my body "female" i'm going to get really pissed off if it's not some sort of situation where i'm with my doctor or something

i'm a guy, my body is either queer or male, it is not female. my bits are not female, they are male because they are mine.

it's inappropriate to label people's bodies for them

it's not relevant

it seriously does not matter

let people call their bodies what they like

EDIT TO FIX: i'm not calling trans* men "women." truscum are misogynistic because they reduce women to certain traits and use those traits as a standard to judge trans* men by, and if the trans* man has too many "female traits" then their identities are denied. 

it's misogynistic ideas of women, and when applied to trans* men and nonbinary people it's really transphobic.

to reiterate:

gender is not a medical condition, it's an identity

gender dysphoria is a medical condition, not an identity

you can identify as a specific gender and not have dysphoria even if the gender does not comply with the expected gender identity of those of your sex

all this means is you don't have a medical condition called dysphoria

when i talk about being trans* i'm not referring to the medical condition called gender dysphoria, i'm talking about gender identities that do not fall within accepted societal norms

clothes don't have genders you can wear whatever the fuck you want it doesn't matter 

transition is an improvement -- whether you like your body and want to improve it or hate your body and want to improve it

not transitioning is okay i'm sure you have your reasons

most of the time when i glance through new followers' blogs, i tend to not trust them unless they're nonbinary. takes a little longer of looking through their posts if they're binary. (no offense binary people, but truscum are never nonbinary. doesn't happen. takes a little longer to make sure you're not a hate follow. those get blocked.)

you know half of the people following i can't tell if it's a hate follow or not. mostly because i have a hard time picking up on that... so i highly scrutinize all activity here. and block people who just look like bad news.

i'm trying to find this post from this person who had a huge list of truscum URLs; they were one of the mods from FYFTMs. i forgot their URL though. it's pissing me off you have no idea. and i'm really sick/hungover so that's fun.
