I've been getting really shaky and it gets hard to breath sometimes. Whenever someone (a teacher especially) calls me out in front of everyone I feel like I'm dying. Not just "Oh that's embarrassing" it is really bad like, I'll try to breath but I can't, my heart rate sky rockets, I can feel the burning of people's eyes and it's only been getting worse. Is it anxiety? I feel like I can't talk to people because I'm extroverted and I feel like I'm breaking some rule if I say it physically hurts
You aren’t alone to feel like that. I felt so shaky/like couldn’t breathe because I didn’t know I had to present something to the class until a teacher told me to go, I ended up crying and laughing on the floor. It is anxiety, maybe social anxiety? It could be different because maybe you have social anxiety while I have general anxiety day to day. It can affect you differently. And you aren’t breaking some “rule” if you say it hurts. I consider myself an introvert with some extrovert tendencies but I hang around a lot of extroverts and even some of them get drained by being around people too long because of their own anxieties and it can psychically hurt them if they stretch themselves too thin/drain their all their energy so I try to make them take a step back.For feeling like you can’t breath trying a breathing exercise next time you feel like that. Breathe in for five seconds, hold for five, exhale for five and repeat. You can add more if you feel like you need more.
