So, parallels.

(I got this idea from the video linked above, which also happens to show the panels, and wanted to "analyze" it! - asphodel)

In a prior panel, the reader can see Mugman pushing Cuphead away. At this point, its more of a flashback and the cups are children, arguing over something very mundane that i can't recall. Cuphead storms off, and Mugman is left to his own devices for ~3 days before Cuphead comes back. We see at this point that Mugman has genuinely never been without his brother, EVER. (prolly because their twins, stupid !) The sudden change in environment clearly throws him off as he starts panicking, and it starts to check the viewer in that they've been inseperable SINCE BIRTH. They've clearly never been separated, and at this frame is when it finally starts to show. Then the story shifts back to the present, where the next panel shows us Mugman reaching for Cuphead rather than pushing him away as he did previously. This is likely because Mugman has just briefly realized he's killed his own brother and has barely any time to process the decision he's chosen before its effect has taken place.

Au where everything is the same except Sako as a teen broke into a Noumu Warehouse, not knowing what it is, and then accidentally saved Shirakumo from getting turned into a full Noumu. Along the way of this process, he has stolen most if not all the memorabilia All For One got from the past OFA users, went and barely managed to kill two Noumus, and now is somehow on top of All For One's shit list and gets a Noumu sent at him every week or so.

But hey! Maybe he can fix this! All he has to do is to go and try and apologize which now that he is thinking that option, it sounds horrific and horrible. He found a taxidermy hand in one of the rooms and it was labeled “Brother” and stole that. That’s already a red flag. Right then. That’s out of the question.

So option two! Just go and hope for the best and keep rolling with the punches and try to fight off the horrific creatures coming at him. Eventually they’ll run out and he’ll forget that grudge. And then he can go back to being a thief and people will stop saying he’s a vigilante. And then he’ll have All Might finally stop asking him if he is all right and have him stop asking where he got the white cape from and where his parents are. It’s going to blow over in a month or two.

Right?

Meanwhile, Shirakumo Oboro wakes up in the hospital and has vague memories of his rescue, including a memory his hero panicking and trying to keep him calm while getting out of the weird laboratory they’re in. And then, he woke up in the hospital and saw his friends again and all the heroes said that the person who rescued him fled the scene the moment they arrived.

Cue Shirakumo having the side goal of finding his hero and thank him properly for saving him. He is going to go and find this guy and properly thank him. The chances may be slim but he’s going to find him! Even if it takes years to-

Oh hey that guy just broke into Shouta’s apartment on accident while getting chased by the monsters he saw in the weird lab. Huh. What a small world.

In three for a cloud au do Atsuhiro and Oboro eventually reconcile? It seems like they have a falling out.

Oh they did fall out for a bit. A big thing on both sides as they both failed to communicate in such a high tension time.

Really, Sako was in the depths of the worst of villains. Only Magne being a true ally as his best friend. To use a example that Mod Kiwi used often for 21fa, it was if the key was right infront of you on the table but everyone had a gun to their head wether or not they know it.

That and Oboro was basically bottling up a carbonated drink with three packs of mentos and life just kept shaking the bottle till the glass exploded.

It takes alot of work on both sides. Especially with the broken vow never to use their quirk on the other. Sako forever feeling horrible that he had to do that to Oboro.

Like after any massive fight, they will talk. They will listen and they will eventually forgive eachother and themselves. Eventually they will heal, fall deeper in love and that love will be spread across their family and friends.
