what do you think would happen if nightmare found out one if his kids were being bullied

or cross finds out one of his kids are getting peer pressured into something they dont like?

smth in them would have to snap right? considering their backstories?

frankly to say, it's not really their problem until that child doesn't want to fight back, pretty sure Nightmare would teach his children how to fight back if they were...with violence as for Cross he attempted but he has the mentality of "as long as they don't hit you, it's really nothing you should worry about, try hurting them with words...and if they hit you back...listen to your father"

I had to delete the first one cause I accidentally said "stop" twice u-u

anyways! and that's where Nightmare began his "I don't actually love him" phase but he would sometimes slip up and say things like "I love him" and quickly change it to something on the lines of "I love him as a minion"
