New Mod!

Hello everyone!

I’m Mod Brii, here to help spread the Shallurklance love! I write fics and headcanons, but to be honest I spend about half of the time I should be using to be doing those staring at an empty post box.

I use she/they pronouns, and am also a multishipper, so I won’t be spreading hate about other ships. We’re looking to spread positivity and fresh content about the ship for everyone to enjoy, rather than focus on fighting.

After a fair amount of disrespect, Aphrodite curses Nico so that he can only speak in his native tongue, Italian. She claims that this will help him understand the subtleties needed to form love. If anything, it just makes him even more frustrated as Will tries to help him.

After a long day in a chaotic infirmary, Will ends up getting a sore throat and loses his voice. Unable to communicate, he starts throwing papers at Nico to try to get his attention.

After a long battle, Nico ended up with a wound that he’d never seen before - it looked weird to him, and he didn’t know how to fix it. It was sapping at his energy, so against his better judgment he went to Will. He lifted his shirt up slightly, all while saying, “Tell me, is this normal?”

Will didn’t expect to wake up to Nico in his face. So as a natural reaction, he shrieked (very manlike) and tried to shove the son of Hades away. However, upon closer examination, it became apparent to Will that this was not Nico - they had the same hair, but their faces were different. “I need a favor,” not-Nico said.

So, after trials of apollo, nico is kind of rude to will. Does nico care about will at all?

Hello!The way this question was worded was a bit unclear to us, but we tried to answer it as best as we could.On one hand, Nico, in general, is more closed off than most people, but then you have Will, who’s a very open person and I would imagine would want to make everything public, which Nico doesn’t necessarily want. That could create some bickering between the two, especially when Will openly refers to Nico as his boyfriend. Nico’s responses could be seen as rude, I see your point, in which case they would need to talk it out and figure out how far they’re willing to go.There’s also the idea that it’s extremely likely that Nico hasn’t fully opened up to Will, and isn’t used to the idea of a relationship since all he’s done is push people away. I’d imagine that this would eventually turn into a sort of defense mechanism for Nico whenever he feels uncomfortable, is to try to push people away - whether it’s by being cold or whatever else. This could bring on a rude feeling, when in actuality it could just mean that Nico is still working through his feelings and doesn’t know how to handle them.Of course, there are many other possibilities, but until we get one in canon I think these are the most likely two possibilities - if this wasn’t what you had in mind, let us know and we’ll try to come up something that answers this question properly.Thanks for asking!- Mod Brii
