I love your blog so much!😍 It's not that easy to find stuff about Wales around but I really need it since I'm a writer and my MC is welsh. Is it okay if I ask you translations every now and then?
thank u!! (and sorry for the inactivity) and sure, that's fine!
I'm at uni in Wales and I'm also taking evening classes to learn Welsh, and I've already seen regional differences after two hours! The lady who's teaching us is from South Wales but we are in north wales so she has to correct herself for the dialect every now and again.
nice!!! and yeah we (in south wales) have some teachers from north wales, so we have the same issue
Welsh is a language with entirely regular and phonetic spelling. Therefore, when you've learnt the rules, reading and pronouncing Welsh is very easy.
Around 465,000 of Wales' students attend state schools.
In Wales, education is compulsory from the age of 5 until the age of 16.
Good luck to everyone receiving their GCSE exam results today!
