I’ve already talked about some scars and physical features of a lotta critters [here]
But to add on:
Andras has some rough slurryspay scars. They were gotten under the care of its previous culler before Calrie, and they’re quite prominent on its smaller form, especially given how emaciated it was before it got into better care. Andras also has some scarring along the edges of its fins due to fin rot, also due to previous unfit culling conditions.
Both Calrie and Crypto have the troll equivalent of appendix removal scars. Calrie’s is in a bit rougher shape than Crypto’s and occasionally causes her discomfort. Calrie’s came from precaution and Crypto got his after early signs of appendicitis.
The Battered has plenty of the scars to be expected from her time on the intergalactic fleets. Although not used for helming, she’s got plenty to show all of the mechanics she’s had to work on. There’s a lot of small scrapes and cuts that have scarred over time. Later on she will lose her right arm from part of a hull’s collapse.
The Starlead has a myriad of scars from their time as a ship captain, and subsequent stranding on their first starship. Some of the most notable they have are many small pinprick needle scars from using helming nutrient ports once the ship’s supply stores began to run low. They end up with a large scar across the right side of their face, marring their eyesight and cutting across their ear fin.
Before The Carillon had assistance from The Nnanntis, she would be a lot more careless in her feedings, resulting in a very few small and mostly faded scars along her arms, most resulting from scratches from ‘prey’ with more fight to them. She was a lot more reckless in her own care before her current quads. She also has a few bite scars, for. various reasons. :P
The Botanist has his neck scar of course, both in life and death, but he also has a few other scars from The Carillon, be it small nicks on his arms, or faint bite marks on his shoulders or neck

heres one to start the engine: Lykoii has super calloused hands
Honestly? Nearly all of them have super calloused hands, all of them do a lot with theirs.
I think Lykoii, Sphinx, Respit, The Carillon, and The Botanist might have it most, they’re folks who have had to work a lot with their hands or use them to keep themself safe a fair bit.
Heres kind of a list of things for each of them.
Under the cut cause! There is a lot to say! Though there is 100% certainty I forgot to put at least something.
Sphinx - For a long time, even after godtiering, shes lanky, shes a lanky little catfish to me :]. She has that sort of young cat lankiness where they get tall and long before they fill out. She has calloused hands from sweeps of working with Lusii and small surface level scars across her arms, which are usually hidden due to long sleeves. She has a small amount of nerve damage and some rough scaring along her lower back and such. She likes to lean against things a lot and her scarf with the weighted bell ends helps with counterbalance. Her pseudo fin ears can move a bit up and down, usually lending themselves to greater expression. She has somewhat short but sharp nails and relatively pointy teeth.
Respit - He also has calloused hands from working with plants and lusii. He’s fairly stout and has fluffy hair with horns that curl around the back of his head, similar to a ram’s but more flush to the skull. He has a long, undocked, sheep tail.
Styrss - Similarly calloused hands to Respit, though part of that is from living outside of society, and a lot of climbing trees. She’s a bit chunkier and taller than Respit due to spending more time with Sheepmom, who will absolutely badger if she doesn’t think her charges are eating enough, as well as a life of relatively less stress. She has minor burn scars along her lower legs from her hive collapsing after a nearby drone attack.
Lykoii - Lanky like Sphinx! He’s a bit thinner and shorter than her, at least on Alternia, both due to a life of strife and having a tail that can help store nutrients. He has broken horns which slowly grow up and into a sort of half spiral after godtiering. His and Sphinx’s horns never match in length at the same time. He has a myriad of scars across his body, most of which disappear upon godtiering. His tail is similar to that of a catfish! He has “pseudo-gills” that don’t work very well, only able to breathe fresh water for short periods of time. Both his hands and feet are quite calloused.
The Carillon - She’s taller than Sphinx and her horns curl into fuller spirals as time goes on. She’s more filled out, both due to age and consistent connection with the clurch. She has calloused hands typically covered by gloves, usually of the welding variety. She has various burn scars along her hands and arms, most small. She shares Sphinx’s back scarring, and she has counterbalance through the form of large, dense, tubular bells attached to her clerical capelet. Her hair is usually pulled back, away from her face. She has hearing loss that gets progressively worse over time.
The Botanist - Calloused hands, like everyone so far! He has scarring across his throat that has rendered him hoarse and quiet. He’s taller than Respit and has perpetual eyebags. Once he dies and becomes a ghost, he has blood covering the front of his clothes and large gashes present across his neck and abdomen, which he tries his best to cover with his ghostly garments. His form tends to wisp and trail as he moves. As Resprite, he is a lot less bloody, though he’s still somewhat hoarse. Lacks his sheep tail as a sprite.
The Compiler - … Does being a machine count- Before everything went down, she was somewhat similar to Styrss, though no burn scars. She had longer hair and horns due to age and differing conditions. Then, comes the machine. Similar to a supercomputer, it is a room wide server dedicated to ‘keeping her alive’. It has a table and a set of chairs, but is otherwise empty. The room is always warm.
The Confines - His fins are more pronounced than both Lykoii and Sphinx’s (Development leaned more towards seadweller genes, cause he actually used them often). He has gills that allow him to breathe sufficiently enough in freshwater. His horns go back straight and then down, they have been sharpened to a point at the ends. They are often adorned with weighty rings. Has a catfish-like tail as well, with a few nicks in what is somewhat analogous to an adipose fin along the back ridge of the tail.

Lavendersprite - Lavender :> A ton of lavender :> I just wanted to include it
Sheepmomsprite - Sheepmom, but a sprite! A larger than usual sheep that is roughly a bit of a Scottish Highland, Valais Blacknose, and Welsh Mountain sheep. Very, very fluffy! Has an undocked tail.
B!Andras Biyten - Has large ear fins similar to a beta fish! It has slight fin rot due to neglect on Beforus. It has choppy hair and a thin, sleek build. It typically wears baggy clothes, but it is a bit malnourished. It’s quite a small violetblood. It has horns that curve back, then up, and then forwards, a bit similar to a bohor reedbuck, but plenty more extreme. It has a long and flared tail fin, also similar to a betta fish, specifically the most common half-moon variety.
A!Pillow Stufin - Pillow :>. She’s the hypothetical product of The Carillon and The Botanist, and she’s honestly just made to be a silly little critter! Her horns look like little airpods. She has large pseudo ear fins and a large catfish-like tail. She has a long scar along her left calf from being caught on debris. Shes a short and compact near-fuchsia blood. She’s just funny to me :>
In more complex stuff: both Stryss and Lykoii are very isolated, both physically and somewhat mentally.
Stryss is left in the middle of the woods with only Sheepmom and a ghost for company after things go down with her, Lykoii is left on his own after him leaving his Lusus and the Clurch in one fell swoop.
They depend a bit on one another, both out of necessity, such as for certain items, and a bit for their small amounts of socialization. I think Stryss could probably do fine without Lykoii, but Lykoii would not have done fine without Styrss. He would’ve just gone back if they hadn’t met, for a plethora of reasons.
She’s the reason he has grumblr in the first place, and why he’s willing to branch out again. He’s why she’s willing to branch out too, to be honest. She’s pretty content with things as they are, but was willing to give talking to more people a try to show him it’s not the end of the world.
They fare a lot better than Sphinx and Respit did when they get to their planets, both used to not seeing eachother for fair periods of time. Though I do like to think they call and say how it’s going on their respective planets. Lykoii finally ends up at Styrss’ and is, justifiably, horrified after hearing how nice it’s been over there. (She is genuinely having a pretty grand time.)
They’re just great friends that enjoy each other’s company a lot!
