We got reblogged by a real actual blog with the literal url @idontlikemogai and this dude’s entire blog is just dedicated to hating on mogai posts in the year 2019.
And he’s not even good at it!
Like honey, if you’re going to be a hater, at least put minimal effort into your responses! Is it really that hard for you to put an ounce of creativity into your bullshit?
Honestly, darling, don’t waste my time with your comments if you’re not even going to be witty about it. Where’s the fun in tormenting you if you start so far beneath me?
I play to knock little bitches like you to their knees where you belong. Get on my level before you try to start shit with me. ;)
Anyway...
I made some more banners. Free for any of our lovelies to use as they wish!~
Hello! I really don't mean any harm, But couldn't mogai hurt the trans community??? The most popular argument I see is that it makes them look like a joke... Again, Not my opinion! Just a question, I'm interested to hear your say! (Love your page btw)
“Hello! I really don’t mean any harm, But couldn’t trans women hurt the lgbt+ community??? The most popular argument I see that that it makes them look like a joke… Again, Not my opinion! Just a question, I’m interested to hear your say! (Love your ask btw)”This is what people sound like when they say stuff like this, darling anon. :) “Oh, well, I can accept this part of the community, but that part? That’s just too queer for me. No, no, that part makes us look like a joke.”Let me explain something to you and anyone else who follows/defends this line of thinking, sweetie. You’re right about one thing: The only argument anyone has against MOGAI is that they think it “makes the community look like a joke.” My rebuttal to that? So fucking what!? The purpose of this community is for similar people with similar experiences to band together. It’s not about what people outside the community think. It’s not about trying to make ourselves conform to society’s standards of what we should be. In fact, it’s the express opposite of that.
We’re supposed to be banding together, defending each other, and telling the rest of the world “fuck you, this is who we are, and we’re not going to change because you say we need to. We’re not going to conform to what you think we should be. We are who we are, and nothing is going to change that!”MOGAI is trans. We can’t be hurting the community because we’re part of it! The community is there specifically for people like us. To support each other! To defend each other! To listen to each other and understand each other! Just because someone’s experience with their gender differs from the “socially accepted binary experience” doesn’t mean you can just kick them out! “Oh, well, we got our acceptance. So we don’t need your help anymore. Good luck on your own.”
Saying MOGAI hurts the trans community because society accepts us less is just like saying trans women hurt the lgbt+ community because society accepts them less than trans men or gay people. And, you know, there are people out there who think like that, anon. Do you want to be like them? Because if not, maybe you should think critically about the arguments you come across.
That’s my say.
Nonbinary person: I finally found a term for my gender, I think! It’s [insert gender here], and it describes how my gender feels incredibly similar to [insert experience here].
Tr*scum: HOLD ON. That’s not a gender. Gender is boy or girl. What you described is just [insert experience here]! That’s not a gender! It’s a thing.
Nonbinary person: Do you... not know what an analogy is, or...?
Tr*scum: [Experience] can’t be a gender!
Nonbinary person: I’m not... saying it is. I’m saying my gender is similar to that. Because I’m nonbinary and my experience isn’t as solidly defined as yours, I have to use analogies to best describe my identity.
Tr*scum: So you think [experience] is your gender!? Well then my gender is airplanes. I’m an airplane now!!!
Nonbinary person: I honestly don’t know how to explain analogies to you.
Aesigender: A stylish, trendy gender. (taken from Pride-Flags)
God, how did we end up following a tr*sc*m!?
No, no, you misheard me. I didn’t say I’m a transtrender. I said I’m trans-trendsetter.
I set the trends in the trans community. ;)
